Problem with Modding

Post by SilvaDalek »

First off, I can't DL mod tools to my laptop. Second, can you work modtools even if BF2 can't run?

ermm.. could you describe your first problem clearly please?#
what do you want to know?
for the second, yes you can (if your specs are to low for swbf2, you might have problems with ZE)

Nvm modtools, the internet was too slow the other day.

I just barely can't run BF2, so maybe modtools will work.

If your graphics are too old, then ZeroEdit may have problems, but everything else should work.

As long as you have it installed, yes. But you won't be able to test your map/mod.

Yes, because if you have BF2 installed, but it can't run, then you could just use BF2_ModTools.exe to test your map, right?

SILVA! You're back! I knew it would only take a matter of time (just as I expect with Ten's case).

Not necessarily true Zerted, I'm running a Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX, and zeroeditor doesn't run.

No, it requires the CD, too.
