Tatooine: Dune Sea (b0.95) --New version April 5, '06
I didn't want you guys to wait any longer on Tatooine, so here it is. It's got lots of bugs, and LOTS left to do, so please read the whole post. Because if I get a bug report I've already reported here, I probably won't reply to it.
Please: do not post this on other sites. When we reach 1.0, then you can.
Bugs:
-The Mortar Tank has major collision bugs, so it will be removed for the next version
-Luke's weapons aren't done, he still has Han's (He will have a blaster, a sniper rifle, detpacks and defense)
-The Desert Skiff's "wings" are messed up
-Hero Assault is not done
-The New Recon/Commander units don't work with award weapons *will cause some crashes* (fixed for new version)
-All Recon/Commander units use Republic weapons
-Commander's Guided Rockets missing *launcher is there but no rocket* (my own notes)
-AT-XT is weak (will have same health as AT-ST in next version)
-All starfighters will be removed for final version (don't worry, the V-19 Torrent will be in Space Geonosis)
Current Features:
-The Sarlacc works
-Episode II clones
-New Units: Recon and Commander
-Yun, Asajj Ventress, Jano Morel and Tatooine Luke are in Hero Assault. (Luke's weapons are not finished)
-The Tuskens are in
-Vehicles in every mode but XL/Hero Assault
-New vehicles -- V-19 Torrent, CIS Mortar Tank (being removed for final version), Modified XP-34 Landspeeder (same model as Luke's, but not his actual speeder), AT-XT

Bugs:
The blue asault hero guy has way to little health, he dies if someone just pokes him.
The mountains in the backgruound are blue...
The new heroes don't have names, neither does their weapons. But the fact that they exist is so cool!

A few bugs
Great map, but I found the following bugs:
1) In the sky, the Star Destroyers keep twinkling, i.e. they keep on disappearing.
2) The new heroes' names are messed up.
3) Whenever I kill a Tusken, it says uttaresh killed NULL !
4) That hero with a purple face has too little health. One shot from a pistol kills him. Also, just one kill restores his power to maximum!
5) Asajj Ventress is weird looking. I mean her breasts (sorry if I'm offending) are much bigger than they are in the Clone Wars cartoons.
6) The Tusken Raiders' rifle is over-powered and too fast. I mean you just stand in-front of him, and you're dead. They never miss. In BF1, I remember that their rifles would over-heat quite a bit.
7) Asajj Ventress has no voice. You could add dialogues from the Clone Wars series; e.g. Your fall will be my ascention to the Sith!
That's it, I guess. Hope this will help you in improving / fixing the map.

Luke Tatooine and a blue lightsaber? He didn't learn to use it until after he left Tatooine.
As far as all of the bugs you've all listed. I know about them, I just have not had a chance to fix them or add them to the list.
@Utteresh -- The Tusken rifle is the same as it's always been. You would always be killed in one shot.
@JadenKorr66 -- No, converting models is hard. I will not add Kit or Zam.

Adding Qui Gon to this map would make more sense then the others mentioned/requested. I'd personally like to see him...
Teancum, do you think if someone else converts or creates a decent Qui Gon model... could there be a possibility of adding him? I think he would make for a better Hero in the Clone Wars Era (and he would be a nice addition to Assault as well). Then place Maul as the Hero for the CIS... that would be cool. Doesn't fit well with the time frame... I know, but I'm a huge fan of Darth Maul.
Not something that would have to be done right now, but like I suggested to Pinx... its something that could be done even after the final version.

Tusken Rifle
I know the Rifle pretty much killed in one shot. But, in BF1, the Tusken Rifle did get stuck sometimes. The tusken fool would fire, and nothing would happen, except that the gun would give out a POP sound. That's why, it would be fair if you could set it to over-heat or something. Otherwise, how the hell are you supposed to take over that Tusken camp.
Just a thought, though.

Haven't seen a problem with the Tuskens at all... Sure they fire rapidly, but they were the very first thing I took out.
All the Tuskens were whiped out probably within 5 minutes, I'd say.

1-Please don't say anything about how Asajj looks. I didn't make the model, and personally, I think it's the best Asajj model out there.

Other than that, I appreciate you all listing the bugs. It is sad, however, when the only replies are "this doesn't work" or "this is a bug" -- What happened to "Man, this map is a lot of fun"? Please let me know what's GOOD in the map so I can stay motivated. I know nobody means to, but it feels like the general consensus is that the map sucks.

Okay, maybe I sound a little over-critical. Yes, it is a great map. You got the sides right, stability is great, and it's fun to play.

Chances are, by the time you get back, a new version will be out. Give the man a break though... he is working on at least three maps that I know of (maybe even more).
I go by a motto when it comes to things like this... and that is... "It gets here when it gets here.". The more you rush things, the more prone to set backs you are. Just let him work at his own pace without asking for too many dates.
