Adding a Side to Somebody Else's Map

Hi All
I apologize if this has already been answered but I could not find anything when I did a quick search and read the FAQ thread.

I have been a Battlefront II fan since it came out but only in the last year or so when I installed it on my new computer did I discover the AWESOME community which has practically created a whole new game - Battlefront the way it should have been from the start!

Anyway, I read that this is the site to ask mods questions so here I go:

As well as enjoying the usual culprits (BFX, DTII, ConvoPack) I downloaded several sides mods and maps. Now, I've gotten pretty good with the whole file format of Battlefront mods just from installing and uninstalling them and checking out folder contents. I decided that I wanted to add a side mod to one of the maps BUT JUST TO THAT MAP, i.e. not copying the rep and repshell files into my main DATA/_LVL_PC/SIDE folder but adding a SIDE folder to the DATA/_LVL_PC folder of the mod map and putting the files in there. However, when I do this, nothing changes in the map when I play it.

In case it matters, the map is
http://www.gamefront.com/files/20967563 ... e__Venezia
and the sides mod is
http://www.gamefront.com/files/17028709 ... on_mod.zip
and I am playing on a WIN7 PC.

Is this not possible for just this map/mod or not possible at all? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance,

You need the source files of the map.
Then, follow this tutorial: http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... 96#p287596 :)
