I think I read once that Jedi only use lightsabers because when activated, the beam produces enough vibrations in the handle that only someone atuned to the force could compensate for AND battle efficiently at the same time. I can't remember from where, it was a long time ago, and it might have just been my elementary school brain making it's own explination. But this wouldn't be the first time the show went totally against something I've read *cough*Mandalore*cough*.
Here's something that some of you tech guys might be interested in. It explains why the shhow never went to Kamino before now and also (slightly) explains how they managed to acoomplish it now.

The part that catches my interest the most is Dooku dueling what appear to be invisible Jedi.

They said it's hard for them to render water on their schedule and budget, correct?
What's so expensive about making CGI stuff? Is it just paying the animators or is there something else that I can't think of?

No, fluids and cloth are, despite how much you optimize a scene, always a pain to render. Realistic fluid simulations on larger scales will, for the time being, require a render farm with a lot of powerful computers. It's unpredictable, because sometimes they suddenly take longer to render then at other times.

That and they're always introducing new characters and locales, so it's brand new modeling over and over.

Have you noticed the Obi-Wan's model has changed? He doesn't have his clone armor (except the gauntlets) and his hair has grown.

I hope they don't ruin Delta Squad. They already screwed up all of Karen Traviss' Mandalorian plotline. I feel bad for her. No wonder why she left the franchise. Like they say: Make it look cool, the baby it down, and pocket twice as much, regardless of reception. True story.

EDIT: Where's Fixer? He's part of Delta Squad, too!

Did they? How?
And all four clones from Delta Squad are there.
Anyway, new video:

Now I can't wait until this Tuesday. And it looks like from the trailer that its trying to aim towards the older audience which Season 2 did for the most part. I hope they don't ruin anything like Delta Squad and such.

Alright, so Travis' canon conflicts with the Clone Wars canon because she depicted the planet of Mandalore as a warrior's planet. Like every Mandalorian was a member of Death Watch. Mainly a nomadic, farming people at home, but filled with a warrior's spirit with many Mandalorians working as bounty hunters, mercenaries, and other similar jobs across the galaxy.
The Clone Wars depicted Mandalore as a peace-striing planet that wants to put their fighting spirit of the past aside.
And it seems like now the new series is trying to overwrite previous canon about Ventress. Anakin kills her in the previous cartoon series back in '04-'05. Now it looks as if Dooku is ordered to get rid of her by his own hand.
EDIT: Got a date.
Premiering on Cartoon Network, Friday, September 17, 9 p.m. (ET/PT)

Actually, she never actually died after that. The comics reveal that she survived. The comics also show that her status is technically MIA.
Also, in regards to Traviss, I get the feeling she left because it wasn't how she wanted it to be. From my point of view, she was acting like a spoiled brat, and I'm not saying that because I dislike her.

Now that I saw the Celebration V trailer.... I think that they may not make it all that bad after all. I vowed to never watch TCW again. I stand corrected. BUT- I'm still aggrivated they blew almost all of the continuity for Boba Fett during the Clone Wars. I read six books. SIX books about him during the Clone Wars, obnly for it to be subsequently overwritten when Boba blows up his dad's helmet, Slave 1, and goes to prison. That was a horrible way to end Season 2.

It seems interesting that we'll see Cad Bane be somebody's worst nightmare. And the possibility of Mandalore reverting back to warriors... I have to see it. Maul's brother, though... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That's a joke, right?

Meh. The Battle of Kamino and Mandalore look worthy of our time, I must admit. I wonder if they'll kill Rex and Ahsoka in this season. They have to go sooner or later. I saw something on wikipedia that made me chuckle. Probably a little kid edited his page because it says: " He was probably killed , either that or he disappeared just before Ep 3,then,after the destruction of the galactic empire, he resurfaced and Rex served in the army of the New Republic next to young Jedi Master Luke Skywalker." That's been edited, because, before, it didn't say he was probably killed, and the grammar was terrible. I have nothing against that, but they shouldn't allow fanon on it. Plus, Rex would've been dead by the time of the New Republic. Meh. Let the little kids take over the franchise. They'd probably make better plots than Dave Filoni.
