Of course, that might be what's holding things back. Finalizing docs, debugging tools, making them user friendly, etc. Who knows at this point.

I don't think we'll have to pay in order to get SWBF II Mod Tools, since a SDK is usually intended to a large community... Also, Pandemic Studios are known to be rather "extrovert", especially with their customers, so I guess they'll freely provide modding tools for the "best-selling Star Wars game ever [...]"...

They are working under Lucasarts licenses. . .

This thread could turn into are-mod-tools-coming-today thread.

Also LA has some of the worse support for their games I have ever seen. Only EA and there Battlefield II patches are worse (even though they do release patchs).

"Just be patient. I'd rather have a patch that they've tested thouroughly than one on some specific date. We know what happens when Lucasarts rushes developers."

I agree, just...well...look at the patch! >>;

dunno... but why is SWBF2 being delayed...again...and again...and yet again....

answer: http://www.eawfiles.com ..... eaw already has TWO patches out, and it came out after swbf2.

yeah but why should the guys of EAW care of swbf2?...........i dont know why you are all so aggressive because i think swbf2 is very well made AND we can be happy THAT they release modding tools! i think it's not easy to create them especially with support! and the patch.......i mean in my eyes exist no heavy bugs in this game.......mine is working fine without any problems.......and something like sky textures etc is something what can be fixed fast so i think the patch took so much time because they have to make the game supporting custom maps so calm down and chill..........

Its all thanks to me that the geonosis sky texture was fixed, i was the first to show everyone a screen of it when i had the game b4 every1. Im happy of that...

I'm an Xbox Live user and I have all the new maps and Heroes. Guys, you're not missing out. Asajj Vestress is like a really clumsy Darth Maul, but not as cool. Her num-chaku sabers are pretty far-out, but they only attack (Ironically) far-out to either side. Kit Fisto is pretty cool, he has a jagged-edged lightsaber he used underwater and he has a new Force power, force bubble or something along those lines. The new maps are pretty cool, you can play assault on them.. hero vs. hero is pretty cool on Bespin...

Marz is so talented, and thanks to you, Mini, we'll have her soon.
