Which Hex-Editor?

Post by Blade »

Alright, I've been reading Rep's capes Hexing tutorial, and want to try it out. The only problem is, I don't know which Hex-Editor to download. I'd just like to know what you guys think would work well for simple Hex editing, doesn't need the bells and whistles, just something moderately simple to use that works . If you could just tell me what you use and why, or just what your recommend and why, I'd be grateful.

Thanks in advance.

I personally use HHD's Hex Editor Neo, it's free, and has a nice UI.

mirkes.de Tiny Hexer is what I mainly use, looks pretty nice and has a decent UI. For more advanced stuff, use XVI32.

Location: probably beating on an arrangement of cylindrical objects with two wooden sticks.

I use XVI32 also, mainly for editing models to use a different texture. Not for anything fancy as I know nothing about lvls and all that. :runaway:
