Lightshuriken?

Well, just wondering if this is possible.....
Making a 'Lightshuriken' - thrown lightsabre with three short blades, high spin time. Obviously need a custom model of some kind for the sabre.
Now, in order for it to work really nicely, I was wondering if its possible to have sabre throw without having the sabre as a weapon (because fighting with small three bladed sabre = looks silly). Either that or have the sabre as your second primary weapon and make it impossible to switch to it.
Anyway, thanks in advance to anyone who can shed a little light on this.

Yup, make a custom model with all the needed hardpoints rotated correctly in XSI, make a custom saberweapon, then make custom lightsaber throw odfs. The downside is that you need to have both equipped to the Unit for the saber throw to work, because the "meleethrow" and "meleethrowordnance" class labels use the Unit's melee weapon.
The other option, would be a custom made shuriken model and use it as a thrown grenade type weapon, but it wont have the saber effects.

Agreed on the grenade part.. You could model the sabre in.. Depends how you want it to look ofcourse, but i suggest moddeling the thing in total, just with a nice shiny and maybe animated texture for the laser, and then make it a grenade without gravity or explosion.. Just loads of damage when hit... Is that possible? That would mean an invisible explosion with damage i guess.. And make it explode on first touch

Well, i think the pack does by not using it... the pack didn't use it right? xD

her lightsabers are included too and they do work andin the xbox pack, her starblades have the lightsaberthrow symbol, so i think it will work this way
why should the pack include notworking assets?

Nope. I just thought it was a stupid weapon so I nixed it. I'm pretty sure they still work. It's been a long time since I've messed with them.
