Not to dampen any of your possible hopes and dreams or times of picking your nose (ewww :? not that you do of course)but.......it's been the next console for quite a while.

Continuing...I fully agree with you Dohnutt! It will fully rock the socks off any random bystander..if that made sense to anyone with common sense.

But lets hope you don't just up and die on us.

OF COURSE I PICK MY NOSE! Who doesn't?

It has, but the release date hasn't changed very much at all. It's set for October, and that's that. I hope.

And, LOZ:TP, and... there's 'sposed to be some sword fighting game, where you use the Wiimote as a sword. That'd be awesome.

Seeing as this topic is about a console instead of a game/game series, perhaps it should be moved to Off-Topic? Just a thought...

w00t. This is exciting news. I don't know whether I'll be getting it on the release date or on Christmas (most likely). But i do know i want these games: Z:TP, SM:G, SSBB, and MP3:C., especially Zelda:TP :D

The Wii better come with 1 wiimote and 1 nunchuck. Too many addons is a hassle.

Now although the Wii was never meant to have for what PC gamers have called FPS, Stragety, and Roleplaying call "hardcore" the whole concept of a motion controller does change everything about gameplay. Now you have a controller that controls both motion and sensitibity.

I aplogize for even mentioning the misconceptions most PC gamers go through (of thinking hardcore....a gamer is neither hardcore nor casual) but I'm also part of another forum where their gaming devotion is mostly Xbox and PCs....

And not that I want to be picky, but I hope the Wii's Online Service can support more than 4 players. If they have at least 8, then I'm in.

Yeah, I already knew about that one, but I thought there was gonna be a different one.

I'm gonna come to GameToast on my Wii Opera internet :D

Y'know, I started this thread, and it seems like I know the least about the topic. Oh well, its gonna be cheap, awesome, and awesome. :D :D
*dances around room* Great, now I'm all excited for it again. I won't settle down for another 2 weeks now. OH WELL! :D

Droideka88 remember that the Wii is a system not a handheld like hte DS. So it will be stronger. Also The DS online was a bit more like a test 4 the online Wii, so they can do all the nessacary stuff to have 8+ people playing together. But one down side is that they (as in Nintendo) is still using the not so friendly friend code system. You know to keep people from paying and having to be 18 or older. We just have to wait and see.

according to your boxart, the wii comes with wii sports. Is that a bundle deal or is that the standard 250$. Because I rather have it cheaper than have wii sports.

From what I've read, it comes with the $250. In other words, it's basically free with the Wii.
