Yes Battlefront II is mine, and its no use they won't even let me have anything that's related to games they even made me uninstall XFire.

Well, that's not the reason for mine. My Dad's uber-protective, and he thinks everything I download has viruses. So I'm allowed to install games that I own, but not downloadable things.

Question: If I have a personal vehicle, should I just place the odf in ZE, or should I make a vehicle spawn? if I make the vehicle spawn, what should be the ControlZone?

FragMe wrote:Without speaking for Rep, a vehicle can be put in the map using just an odf and placing it in ZE at the location you want. This also means you wouldn't have to make a custom side.
You just have to make sure you have effects, explosions (unless it is indestructable) included in the odf/msh/effects that would
be submitted with your map layer.
While it is true a lot of it may be replicated if all the sides are there but if they aren't they could be a map crasher which would not be good.
As well depending upon which sound lvl is loaded you may not get the sounds you want.
The other part too is that if there are too many flyers or hovers in the map they will eat up memory pools.
The other question would be whether or not the vehicle is allowed to have weapons but given the talk that has gone on in this topic I am going to guess no
but I'll leave that up to Rep to decide.
Also, don't forget to put this line in your lua
Code: Select all
SetMemoryPoolSize("EntityHover", 400)

This sounds like fun and if I hadn't already uninstalled my mod tools I definitely would have made my own lot. That's too bad...

I'll take M4
EDIT: Can anyone tell me how to get rid of all the grass that's in the house in game. It's doesn't show up in Zero Editor (sorry if this is a dumb question but I am new to ZE).

Go to "FOLIAGE".
You will see green color under your house.
Rightclick on that color to remove it.

Thanks, my house is all but done now (I am running SWBF II Beta instead of the game because my game Disc 1 is corrupt, I replaced a couple of files and can now access my addon maps through it yay!)

You should look in the SWBF2 Modtools Doc's or go to our Gametoast Everything you Need thread:

Yeah, only nine left! We filled up the city well.
Speaking of which, my lot is just about finished. All I need is someone to make me a custom skin for my personal starfighter (Xfire me if interested), then I'll be ready to submit it.

Rep, I couldn't tell which thread to post this in, but can we use your prefabs for our own maps? Or no?
EDIT: Rep, everything shows up black and warped when I munge it.

Hi, Rep, I have an idea about what I could do - A Star Wars-y market! Imagine cloth stands with stormtrooper armors, wampa burger stands, et cetera et cetera. Is it OK if I do that or...? That is seriously the only original idea I can come up with to be honest.
(Of course I would keep it Coruscant looking, so it doesn't looks like something from Tatooine for example)
Edit: Dang, I posted in wrong topic. I thought this was the Planning topic.

Yeah I'm planning to help YJJ with some models like a ewok roasting on a stick XD. Rep could we maybe use something like G1-2 and have others helping?

Haha, more like YOU will create it. I'm basically hopeless

But I'll keep trying for the sake of teamwork!
@YouJediJunkie - That's actually a kinda cool idea.
