Positioning objects (solved)

Post by woner11 »

This is kinda like Manderek's topic on positioning an object to exact coordinates, but how would I do that for rotation.

I don't think there is anyway to print or set the Euler angles, but what exactly are you trying to do?

If you are just trying to match the rotation of an object with an exact duplicate of it (same ODF), then there is a round a bout way for this. You multiselect the rotated object and another random object, press "1" to duplicate the group, press "2" to place the group, place the group, then delete the copy of the random object and all you have left is a copy of the object that needed to be rotated in the rotation you needed.

A second option, if you are trying to get the object at a specific angle, is to press "r" to toggle rotate snap and then the object will rotate at 15 degree increments.

I got this information from the keyboard commands part of the Zeroeditor page on the modding wiki.
