Hey!

I'm having a little bit of trouble. I realized recently when I tried to change the buffed effects that none of those effects actually display on any units either in my mod map or in the game at large. This is frustrating, because I've not got the faintest clue when and why these effects stopped playing. I don't really need the effects, but it'd be nice to be able to see them in case I came up with some kind of special buff that would logically have some visual effect on a unit.

I haven't managed to find any ODFs that seem to make any mention of parameters relating to the buffed effects, even though I'm pretty certain those exist. Any pointers?

The specific effects in question are com_sfx_buffed_defense.fx, com_sfx_buffed_offense.fx, com_sfx_buffed_poison.fx, com_sfx_buffed_regen.fx.

the 1.3 patch disables them if you checked the box I think.

It does. The buffs cause massive lag for users on slower computers. Reinstall v1.3 and make sure you don't disable the buffs. If that wasn't the problem, check your graphics settings and max them out.
