I was trying to change through the .odf files, the Phase I ARC trooper blue skin by the Phase I ARC trooper red skin, which is an unused skin on the assets. I thought I just needed to replace this part of the .odf:
OverrideTexture = "rep_inf_arc_blue"
OverrideTexture2 = "rep_inf_arc_pack_blue"
By this:
OverrideTexture = "rep_inf_arc_red"
OverrideTexture2 = "rep_inf_arc_pack_red"
I then munged, but nothing happened. Any thoughts?

Where did you change it? In the assests folder?

And since you had to of made a side folder for this to work, check that you put the dc: bit in your script.

No. In my mod's rep side.

Now that I've done it, the game exits to the desktop while loading.

odf unit perfect and your rep_inf_arctrooper.msh.option say this:
-lodgroup soldier -nocollision -keepmaterial override_texture override_texture2
????

I've tried to use the skin on the officer position, but it doesn't work either.

I think I know what your problem is because I did this exact thing once...
Did you forget to copy the Common folder to your sides folder?
