I just got a new laptop and I copied my map's data file over to the new mod tools folder.
But now even if I munge it, only this comes up:
Code: Select all
done.
Copying files to Battlefront II directory:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData"
Addon dir exists, continuing...
Mod dir "RPG"exists, continuing...
Copying addme.script to mod dir...done
Copying "mission.lvl" to modDir\data\_LVL_PC\...done
Copying "core.lvl" to modDir\data\_LVL_PC\...done
Copying "RPG" to modDir\data\_LVL_PC\...done
Copying "SIDE" to modDir\data\_LVL_PC\...done
Munge process finished
and no changes are made to anything. Even cleaning and remunging didn't help. Does anyone know what to do?
EDIT: I'm running Vista, by the way.

That always appears when your munge is done it isn't an error, just run bf2 and your map will be there. Oh and Vista doesn't do anything to the munge only sometimes ZE.

I know it isn't an error. The problem is that the munge should display a whole lot else and actually change something.

Try and play the map, I've had quick munges like that that happen sometimes and it worked just fine. If it doesn't work make sure you copied over everything and made sure you set the new location for the map to be munged to.

I did as you said but it didn't work. The world will munge, and so will the localize. I think that means I have a ZE problem. This is wierd because the last vista I modded on worked fine.
EDIT: Whoops, this is embarrassing... I forgot to set the region class so they aren't working. I now have a much less problematic problem:
My Death Star Panels aren't appearing ingame...
EDIT EDIT: No, never mind, apparently my script isn't munging either...

How long does each munge take?

Less than a second.
EDIT: I tried reinstalling the mod tools, and I don't think it worked. Now when I munge I get the map name like this:
RPG%s_%s
EDIT EDIT: And when I try to play I get a FATAL error that says "Could not open mission.lvl".
EDIT EDIT EDIT: There's some other program called CyberLink\Power2Go that the ModTools says that it does not expect at that time. I don't know what that is anyway so I'll remove it and see if anythign changes.
EDIT4
PROBLEM SOLVED!

I deleted that line lol.
EDIT: Just in case it isn't, I think Frisbeetarian's fix for the problem should be put somewhere where people can find it. Alot of people seem to be having the problem.
