I agree, I think there should be continuing work on Battlefront 1 and not abandoned because of the sequel Battlefront 2

also in some ways I still like Battlefront 1 better, in a lot of the maps and also the AI

I have to agree, fellas. I wish Lord Bandu had been able to finish the Battle over Mon Calamari map. It was looking like an awesome map. Definately some kind of space battles. The senate chamber I don't quite think would a good idea, at least not while maintaining the feel of the level. The combat is better suited to the BF2 version due to the controls and combat physics capabilities involved. But if you're up to the challenge, try creating these maps yourselves and submit them to the community.

Airies, if I had been you, I would have surely exploit GameToast's "Search" feature in order to find resources related to the projects intended to Star Wars Battlefront you've mentioned earlier. Indeed, as WHITE-RAVEN remarked, Lord-Bandu has ever thought to release the "Senate Chamber" Project for this LucasArts video-game - Among other ones -, but he isn't the only GameToast member having planned on designing such maps for it. Indeed, if you look at the "Map/Mod Announcements for SWBF1" sub-forum, you will get an overview of Star Wars Battlefront levels probably meeting your criteria...

YES!!!

By the Will of The Force YES!!!

Please... See that you have the Space created for this! There IS a need!

Several BF1 devotees are eagerly awaiting new mods! I just downloaded a few new BF1 mods today from Gametoast, here!

I'm rallying up what seems to be pre-existing energy and interst in heralding a New Renaissance into multiplayer BF1, and co-facilitating a revival... specifically THROUGH the use of mods!

Thing is, I'm not a modder... yet. But I FULLY SUPPORT anyone in thier interst in producing new mods for BF1.

I invite you to visit the website of the Star Wars Battlefront New Renaissance...

Ummmm... I thought that adding one's own never-before-seen input was actually considered... well... adding never-before-seen input.

That's the entire reason we even HAVE threads, isn't it? To build upon previous postings in a progressive fassion.

"Bumping" is just... well... bumping.

Thanks for the progressive contribution to build upon, though, I guess.

DIRECT QUOTES FROM THE WEBSITE'S FORUM RULES:

3. Don't Resurrect... A topic that is older than 45 days... The exeption to this rule would be if you have useful information to add to an old topic...

8. ...If you want to bump a topic, post something useful or don't post.

And of course...

5. Don't play 'Junior Moderater'

He's not playing "Junior Moderator" or he would go around all day and make posts like that, and your post wasn't exactly very "useful information" it was just you agreeing to what others had said and promoting your website.

Off-topic : Well-tried, STORMBRINGER, but all I can say is that your behavior has not really favoured the Positive Feedbacks you may have obtained by posting useful messages on GameToast Forums. Furthermore, you should have perhaps thanked -_- for having reminded you what sorts of acts are not allowed on this Message-Board, instead of considering him as a simple "Junior Moderator" who is completely unable to differentiate proper contents from "condemnable" ones...
