Not having caps in the right place isn't really that big of an issue.

Ant's video description wrote:The point on this mod was to make the sides better, but now I only found it worse. The new models seem like it spent him like 2 minutes, it's now like impossible to kill people has a Imperial Officer, I don't really like the new and improved guns, the faces are messed up. The main thing that I would have liked that Battlefront should have done was to make turrents kill people easier, and make the Sonic Blaster more deadlier, but sadly this mod failed to recongize this.
Um, I think you missed the point of this mod...

...and if you read the changelog, you'll notice that only model and effect changes were made. So these things you are noticing, with how the weapons work and whatnot, they're all in your head.

To add onto that...

@Ant: Dude, the faces are real faces - like, they're photosourced from the faces of real people. And I mean for goodness' sake, this is basically supposed to be a new and improved version of the 1.2 sides, which it is, and which, to be honest, were kinda crappy in some aspects (mainly the weapon models and the fake, gross scope textures and specular - no offense to any of the contributors, but it's just...ugh). Also:

You do realize that this mod has been in the works for one and a half years, right? I mean really.

There's nothing wrong with calling people out when they're wrong (i.e. "the weapons are different" "uh, no, they're not") or when they're being rude ("it seems like they took two minutes"), but no one's going to take you seriously if you look like you have to put something else down to build yourself (or something else) up. Let a work stand on its own merit.

My apologies. I didn't mean to look as if I'm trying to put the 1.2 sides down to build up Evolved; I said it because I just don't really like a lot of aspects of the 1.2 sides. I only happened to mention my distaste because I mentioned the sides at all.

Yeah, but - and not to hammer this in too hard - the only reason you "mentioned the sides at all" was to compare them by saying "these new ones are better because the old ones were bad." This is a fine stock side replacement. Let the mod stand on its own legs.

In my opinion I love any mod that is new, the only mod I have rejected since I've been playing battlefront 2 was the battlefront project... That mod was terrible, skins were great but u only lasted 2 seconds on the field without being killed. Getting back to evolved now this mod is terrific, skins are 10x as better like the scout trooper one and storm trooper, and how they have here head bowed like here actually aiming while shooting is amazing, that's battlefront 3 work right there. This is basically like a patch to update with a new gameplay like the v1.3 patch did. I'd give this a 10/10

I didn't mean to totally kill his review on the video, but I just had to call it out.

Comparing this to 1.2 patch sides is like comparing apples and oranges - I like both, they taste good, but they each have their own uniqueness that make them stand on their own as visual mods (and fruits!). What this would eventually boil down to is preference. I think all in all, so far, I prefer Evolved. But that's just me! I've used the 1.2 sides for a long time and they'll still always have a place in my backups folders in-case I want to mess with them again later. :)

@Battlefront Project - that mod is played completely different compared to stock, you've got to think. I was able to last rounds mowing down everything. It's not for the lighthearted or Rambo-types. Again it's a personal preference than anything else.

What's terrible to one person is fun to another person. But we really need to get back to Evolved, because comparing mods is futile when in the end it's all based on opinions anways. We should talk about this mod (Evolved), because Evolved is still relevant to the topic.

(if this even remotely sounded like junior moderating, I'm sorry. I'm just stating that comparing mods is kind of...well let's just say it's like comparing every single MMO to World of Warcraft even if some MMO's have different mechanics - heck Ultima Online was way before WoW. It's as if people didn't even acknowledge Ultima Online anymore, but again - different topic for anothe time)

Just my thoughts.
