Hi Guys,
I have the steam version of BFII. I'd like to get the mod tools working with steam. I installed them to the root of my drive as instructed, I can visual munge a map (ABC) to test however I cannot run the mod tools exe.
Looking at the FAQ I downloaded the noCD exe. I placed that where my BattlefrontII.exe is located in my steamapps folder and ran it. My map, isn't showing.
Looking at the directory more closely there are 2 addon folders. The executables are located in the GameData folder inside this there is an additional Addon folder.
The directory looks like this:
D:\Applications\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II
In here are:
addon
GameData
Manual.pdf
Inside addon I can see my map (ABC).
Inside Gamedata are the executables, the dll's and more including another addon folder.
So do I need to copy my map to the second addon folder?
if so will I need to do this every time I munge to test it? or is there a step I am missing?

Did you install the Vista Munge Fix?
The Vista Munge fix is also required for every version of Windows after Vista (Windows 7, 8, and 10). If you have Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10 but lack the Vista Munge Fix, Visual Munge won't work properly. The Vista Munge Fix can be found here: https://www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-b ... editor-fix
Regarding your issue with the addon folders, this post should address that: http://www.gametoast.com/viewtopic.php?p=468092#p468092

First, install the munge fix as said here if u don't have him (you will probably notice if u don't installed him)euden wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 9:19 pmHi Guys,

Second, the addon folder inside /Gamedata is the right to go. To munge ur map in this folder open Visualmunge.exe in /_BUILD and click on 'options' in the top header. Now you can set the BF2 directory. Just set it to /Gamedata and Visualmunge should now place ur map in the right (the second) Addon Folder. If u have more questions just ask.
