Yep. At least it's known about now, and luckily that's something with the 1.3 patch, so it'll get updated eventually. Until then your game won't break or anything, it'll just look funny when selecting modes/eras.

well that's a relief
and there's no rush, i can play all game modes on all lvls and era's without a crash (i have tried extensively)
so until the fix happens i'm quite happy to know that
A. it isn't my fault this time
B. a fix is coming
so i'll just keep having a play around as bastilla on alderaan

I plan to release an updated v1.3 patch sometime this weekend (most likely Sunday late night). So if you want anything else in it or have noticed anything odd or more bugs, post it as soon as possible. After that I'm done, unless Teancum still wants the Wave and Vehicle/Race game modes...

Also a localization for this unfortunate 1.0 user??

I get everything with their filename (only maps, modes and the era, everything else is fine!): AB1%_s% etc...
Can you fix this, like in the pic here posted earlier, I had such a instant game list with previous versions of the convo pack which I also played with 1.0. Btw Tean, I played 7 games, including the kotor ERA, no bugs/ctd's yet
btw where is the concept art I heard people talking about?

That's good to know. Well I have some random crash to desktop when trying to enter a map sometimes, but it's really rare and random, so I bet it's my computer's problem, It only happened twice, so no problem

What if you have the +123 mod which gives you Both Rhen Vars, one of the Bespins, and Yavin Arena? Wont this just make a double of each mod and you have to wonder which one is the one you want to use at your own servers? Or will it be a little little bit different so you can tell e'm apart?

It was said I think that Convo Pack wont work with +123 and BFX, and it is recommended not to use other mods with this big mod, It could cause errors and stability problems

Its not just the double maps that will cause issues. The SWBF Conversion Pack offers more modes for the shipped maps and therefore the modes conflict with each other.

Just get the 1.1 patch. The 1.1 patch
is the fix. It's better than 1.0.

I do not use any other mods since none are as good as this. No offense.
Hey, I think it would be cool to have a map where it has all the Clone Commanders vs the Republic Commandos. What do you think?

I cannot, the patch unables me to play the game. Like it does with many non-domestic (meaning games not sold in the US) SWBF2 games. If someone can put all changes of the v1.1 patch into 1 file without the "getting screwed over" part, then that would make me a very happy man. I'm furious that my game is calling me thief, I bought it and patching it pops this message in my face: "Please insert the original "Battlefront 2" CD/DVD in drive D:".
I e-mailed secuROM about it. But after sending analysises, descriptions and every tiny number on my disc I have come to the conclusion that they seem very hesitated to give me an answer. Perhaps they know there's no solution, perhaps all the little numbers I sent them made them realize my disc wasn't part of a "falsly production batch".
Besides localization problems I don't have any other issues, everything works fine, no crash yet. Making me wonder that this patch doesn't fix as much as people think?

Make sure you download the correct patch. There are three patches:
One of those three patches works for every version of the game. The only exception is if someone is using a pirated version of the game -- it cannot be patched to 1.1. **

That's really weird that it won't accept the international DVD patch -- that's definitely what you have. Still, stranger things have happened.

What the v1.1 patch fixes is listed in its changelog. I think it changes enough to be worth using. If none of the patches are working and you don't have any software or emulators on your computer that swbf2 might think is 'bad', then you should be bugging LucasArts for a replacement copy of the game.
There is no reason for anyone to be using a cracked version of the game. There are ways to play in both v1.0 and v1.1 without changing any of the game files and without requiring a physical copy of the CD/DVD. However, those ways are outside the scope of Gametoast.
Nova Hawk, what do you think about getting a warning for continuously posing off-topic posts? This topic is about the Conversion Pack 2.0's release and any of its problems and fixes or praises, not a discussion on making other maps. Your latest post has been deleted.

LucasArts got nothing to do with this I'm afraid, it's secuROM that's screwing me over, in fact, is screwing a lot of people, I don't know if you heard the 'facts' about...let's say Spore (by EA)? You'll see what I mean...

Really? Because secuROM won't allow that so easily, it's doing a pretty good job of keeping the honest customer from playing...
