Random Crashes...
As you can probably infer from the title, my computer will often crash for no apparent reason. What happens is the screen completely grays out on me for no apparent reason, and it usually happens when I'm surfing the Web, so I'm forced to restart my machine. The computer also crashed while I was downloading Portal 2, and as a result, I'm getting a .exe error, so I can't run the game. My questions are, how would I fix the crashing, and would it have affected the installation over Steam? I'm using a 64-bit Windows 7, if that helps at all.

Gonna need more specs than just the Operating System...
And I'm guessing a crash WOULD affect a download over Steam, as anytime any download is interrupted for any reason, files can be incompletely downloaded, resulting in corruption.

Okay, well that solves that. I contacted Valve's Support, though haven't got a response yet.Twilight_Warrior wrote:Gonna need more specs than just the Operating System...

And my specs are:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i7 CPU, 2.80 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
Sorry if I need to post more, but I'm not too sure how to find the specs of everything else (graphics, sound, etc.)
