Skinning faces?

is there a good tutorial for skining faces? cuz i am not vary good at getting them to blend good or getting skin to look right or can somone help me skin a face?

I don't think there can be a tutorial for this. All you need is a keen eye to match up facial features and knowledge of adjusting/matching colors, as well as being handy with the smudge tool (at least for me). Otherwise, requests go in the Request Thread.

If you use GIMP, here are a few hints that help me to get something a little more believable:

Well, for the skin you could use google images, other skins, or even a picture of yourself if you wanted. Then what I do is I scale the image, use the select tool to take skin and place it where it's needed. To get it to look more natural I zoom in and use the smudge tool to eliminate those creases that are a dead give-away (skin tones should be similar for this though)

I also use the nose, eyes, and mouth as checkpoints for where the re-skin should be (both scale-wise and placement-wise)

Don't know if that will help you at all, I'm not very good at skinning myself, but maybe it will give you some ideas :thumbs:

thx i have been using images its just now i am trying to skin agen kolar and the pics of him are not vary good.if anyone has any good pics of his face please post them.
