Sorry about not coming around, the internet connection around here was being difficult and was not letting me connect any of my electronics to the internet. We can trade through the Wi-Fi club. But I can only do it past 8pm through 11pm. Reposting FC: 2193 6982 2322 Is this alright for you?

It was supposed to go online on March 30th, but the tsunami hit Japan and the launch was delayed. Why Nintendo's American servers are based in Japan is beyond me, though, especially since they have an entire American portion of hte company.

Well, I just beat the last gym leader... and my Zoroark got Pokerus from the battle. That caught me completely off-guard. I had no idea Pokerus could be contracted from trainer battles. Regardless, it's awesome. First time I've gotten it on my own (I had to trade to get it before).

I got Pokerus too the other night, I was training one of my Shiny Eevees to be a Glaceon (Yes, I managed to get 8 VGC10 Shiny Eevees from that GTS site ) and the last Boldore had Pokerus. It was then I realized that on that night I had:

-Downloaded 8 Pokemon from the GTS site mere hours before it went down for Black/White maintenance.
-In the process of doing that got 8 shinies.
-Caught Pokerus.
-Infected almost all of my Kanto Pokemon when leveling them up.

It was truly epic

I found out that the matchmaking they have in these games is really not very good. It's your standard 3v3 Level 50 flat battle, but it pits you against people all over the world, so an American who only has access to the basic pokemon and only one win can be put up against a japanese person with a Magic Bounce Espeon, Speed Boost Blaziken, and a Poison Heal Gliscor who has 354 wins. Really kinda dumb if you ask me, it made me want to hax (AR hax and Double Team hax)

Speed Boost Blaziken isn't even legal yet, so they were using either an AR or Pokesav themselves.

It's out in Japan, though, that's the thing. I was put up against a Japanese person who'd had the game for a long time and had access to DW abilities, so I'd avoid the Matchmaking for a while.

Bingo. When you bring Genesect there you get the useless Casettes or whatever they're called in America. They make his move Techno Buster (or whatever it's called here) change types, but the move's pointless.

So I'm guessing the only way to get Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect at this point in time is to use Action Replay, right? AFAIK, there's no event that makes any of them available yet.

The Global Link is up and not working for me. It's still spitting out the "Registration Process/5 minutes" thing. So I'm just going to try it at 2 AM when the Californian masses have gone to sleep or just wait until May 5th when you can actually get the Eeveelution you won.

Hah, Global Link. What a piece of crap. It's supposed to give you an hour a day, which is stupid as it is, but you can only befriend one pokemon at a time and once you wake your pokemon up you can't send them back? What? I mean, I'll still use it so that I can get a Multiscale Dragonite, but I think that they took an awesome-sounding concept and screwed it up big-time.
