I'll try. I'm not that good with MAKING textures, just kinda good with EDITING textures...

that is amazing! remember, though... lego people have the angled hands with the opening on the side. still, awesome. Good times, legos.
Anyone who plays star wars galaxies should know what this is. That, or people who right-click the pictures. took me about 1/2 an hour, maybe less. All that remains is the texturing. Speaking of texturing, can I texture all the objects seperately and merge the objects, getting one GOOD uv template?

are you going to make it that when they die they fall apart, like lego star wars? maybe make chunks like the battledroid chunks

but still, that's usable, unlike all mine. I ruin mine with crappy textures. Speaking of which, anyone want to set up my ghost that I posted in Model showcase thread Part II? (includes adding textures)
If so I can send it to you monday.

*Raises hand slowly*
you want to texture and set it up as a vehicle? I think I added the hp_active and fire, but I'm not sure... I want it to look a lot like it did in halo 3, not sure if it's easily do-able to make it shiny over the whole vehicle... There are 9 objects. Body, 'wing', laser 1, laser 2, fuel tank, foot pedal, right handle, left handle. I'm pretty sure this will make it a bit easier to texture, but then again, I'm not good at texturing, so I wouldn't know.
Sure, got some Covenanty textures, and glow can be done with MeshEx.

Those lego models are awesome! The only thing i noticed is that the lightsaber hilt should be a little bit taller.
EDIT: BLACK9_KNIGHT, nice hammer!

The cake is a lie!
If anyone could texture it, please, I'd love that, cuz I just started after I took the pic and started the upload, and it's turning out horribly. And BTW, this is just from looking at certain pics.

Yes, you'll have one "good UV template" if you texture them all separately on the same texture and merge them together. You can also use separate textures, but you won't have one pretty UV template once you merge them (the UV viewer will look odd).
But really, I'm not sure what you want by saying one "good UV template." I usually prefer to texture individual parts separately and then merge them together. The individual UVs are preserved (even if the UV viewer doesn't look pretty) and it's much easier than trying to merge everything and texture all at once.

and you said earlier not to laugh at you cuz you've never done legos...
anyone who is laughing is probably only doing so because they remember them good ol' days of playing with legos. Keep it up dude, this stuff is amazing
are you going to make a map with them?

Some people don't need dynamite to blow away people. Darth-Revan can do it with his models.

I personally think you added way too much deatail on things that can be done with a simple bump-map. And since I doubt that yer gonna be releasing just the heads by themselves, there's really no point in doing the little clip things or the insides, as these would be major resource hogs in BFII if they're even for it. But other than the major over-polyness for BFII stuff if they're even for it, they're really, really, REALLY good.

Assuming these will be either used sparingly or as unit models, I don't see an excess use of polygons. Maybe the clone head has a bit too many, but even then it's not a huge waste of polygons.
Very nice models Revan.

I don't like to copy people, but I just felt like doing a lego character when I saw Revan's models. I fell in love with them.
My model ain't perfect. The hands don't have the right shape, but over-all I think it's pretty OK. It ended up being 335 polygons.

Still working on my modeling, I am becoming pretty good I think but I am terrible at texturing, long ago I thought maybe someone would like to continue working on someone else's models, depending on your specialty.
This is a render preview of my latest model, a Stun Grenade according to Wookiepedia (I'll put the wireframe next time, I just forgot about it when saving the picture.)
If someone wants to to all the hard work of skinning and exporting just tell me how to share the basic model, I wonder if this grenade can get a different bounce effect by making a proper collision.
