I don't understand? We can make maps based off battlefront 2 but not sides?

Yes wave 2 in the palace will soon be coming as soon as I get the assets from Sereja who is almost done his naboo map. As for kashyyyk and other maps ... possibly ... I have indeed considered it. I guess I could always just drag over the sides from my assault on theed and then just edit my kashyyyk cataclysm. I'm defiantly one of the more qualified modders on this site to do something like that. Let me finish up Assault on Theed and we will see about doing Kashyyyk and possibly other maps like kamino if I can get someone to make custom props for me :thumbs:

NOTE: This post was made in response to Teancum's, but that was taken out of context and all posts after his up until the post following this one are based on that out of context post. Teancum has provided an explanation below.

I would have thought ideas were okay to use, just not actual assets. Otherwise, we'd have seen Delta-1035's GCW-1035 banned as that'a directly based off EA's sides from the first game (without using any assets from it), and Gogie's Scarif would surely be a no go as well given the Walker Assault mode.

CLARIFICATION

You guys are freaking out a bit too much. The person I was replying to wanted the EXACT models ported over from the new Battlefront II. They've since deleted their post and I didn't know that. Original content based on new stuff is fine. They wanted the actual new stuff in the old engine.

I was simply asking if the sides you used for this could be a side mod?
I never asked for the EA models from the new game.

No, not you. There was another reply that got deleted which is what Teancum was responding to. Because the post was deleted Teancum's post is now out of context.

Can you use the Dc 15s that Delta 1035 used in his ea battlefront 2 mod it looks really good
Either that or the one used in Commander 91's Battlefront 2 strikes back that one even looks better :D

I feel like the Specialist's sniper rifle's range is WAAAAY too short. Please increase the range!

In the credits for the dc 15s from Delta 1035's blaster was from ggctuk, So maybe you can ask him or just use the one from Battlefront 2 strikes back which in my opinion looks better
EDIT: also could you change the amount of time the battle is like to 9 or 10 mins because I measured it and that's about how long it is in the actual game

Ummm maybe dose this take into account the palace stage ??? Last time I think it took the Mtt 15 mins and people didn't like it.
