that and as for around here it basically means a second-to-release version of a map/mod. It can be anywhere from still doing major changes to only minor tweaks, and that is dictated by the decimal that usually follows 'beta'.

Yea.
Just remember the 'Second' part, and that's generally what it means.

And there' also an "Alpha (A,α)" version, which doesn't even include all necessary features, but (strangely) no "Gamma (Γ, γ)" version, as a term for final versions.

O.k the testing spots are full and the beta has been sent out. Testers, you can either post your reviews here or you can just pm them to me. I'm looking forward to having the public beta out sometime soon.

Ok so i tested conquest and I had fun in CW and a friend (not on this site) tried GCW and it looked fun. Only thing is XL CTD'd halfway through loading and haven't done a log yet. As a commando i had fun soloing the enemy bridge

See my PM. Also it would be great for bridges to be destructible but that they can be repaired. also, engineers are underwater trying to fix tanks, and infantry are standing underwater doing nothing.

Tested it.
Ups:
- Awesome Environment
- Great Layout
- Great Units
- Great Vehicles (especially the swamp speeder)
Downs:
- The Wookie Catamaran seems kind of odd as a speeder as it's supposed to be a flyer.
- When the game is near the end, the transports are usually still flying around with units and ground units are still trying to shoot them down.
- CW Hero Assault does not work. Crashed half way through loading.
- Many units are running around underwater.
- Many sounds are missing (but you already knew that).
Suggestions:
- Add destructable bridges.
Besides the downs, this map was very enjoyable.
Great job
MasterSaitek009! Can't wait for the next version.

What a pity there's no beta for me...but after all, I wouldn't have any time to play through it. Anyway, all these comments make me really look forward for the 1.0. Hurry up, you're going to be famous with that map^^
