Nope, we need the library(dll) source code(which we don't have) to be updated and compiled with a newer XSI SDK. It is not uncommon for xsiaddons to break from one version of XSI to another.
If anyone has the source then Mike Zaimont would be the guy to talk to. Good luck with that!

He replyed to me , and he wrote :
Well, considering the studio was closed in November (
http://kotaku.com/5406830/confirmed-ea- ... ll-live-on ), I'm afraid I don't have the source for the exporter, or a developer license for XSI anymore.
I'm sorry, but even if I could update it, if I did Lucasarts would sue me anyway.
Which other guy can have the source ?

Nobody. Thank you for finding this out. This is probably the definite answer; No, there'll never be an update to pandemic's XSI addon.

ANDE has just informed me that psych0fred posted the Pandemic Tools source code on his website.
http://www.secretsociety.com/forum/down ... ceCode.zip
This could be used to complete the functionality of ZETools, and updating the source to work with newer versions of Softimage should be possible now as well.

Oh wow, that's awesome.

Thanks psych0fred, guy who has given us so much, and Ace & ANDE for letting us all know.

Does this mean that the cloth issue with ZE tools might get fixed soon?

I know ande added some things to his plugin to help people who may have been confused about some things but to me the original pandemic addon worked great and did everything you needed it to since I never cared about importing models. So, maybe someone will just recompile the plugin to work with newer versions of Softimage?

if the code is outdated we have to recode some parts.

Sortof off topic, but psych0fred also posted a SWBF2 test level on his site. I don't have the mod tools installed currently, but I wonder if it had any cool cut stuff.

Yeah I looked through that yesterday, there were mainly just test objects like characters with no skeletons etc.
I did find a cool vehicle though (rep_fly_omithopter.msh)

In another mail he said that "I have a lot of models I'd like to finish rigging and release to the community.", maybe it's his testing grounds.
