What do you think of the upcoming Halo 3? I for one hate Microsoft for several reasons.

1). Halo 3 is only for the XBox 360, as of now. I hate the idea of waiting, maybe even for 3 years, just to see if they deign us PC Game Lovers "Worthy" of having the "Privilege" of playing one of their games, probably on a new OS, too.
2). Halo 2 needed Vista, which was rly lame and slowed my computer down BAD. It also was annoying and, well, STUPID.
3). The XBox LIVE needs you to pay $50.00 a year for something as simple as using a MICROPHONE! Umm. Wow. Not even for the ability to play online, which would mean NO ONE would buy it, but for things, as one PC Gamer magazine letter and response put it, that other game makers are giving you FOR FREE! Umm, What (VERY bad word. Kids, NEVER use itis that?

It's a known fact that Microsoft simply doesn't care, and personally, Halo has always been an Xbox thing for me, not another PC Shooter.

Wrong. Microsoft is smart. Console or one-specific-console games sell consoles. The Mario Party series, the Super Smash Brothers series, the Gran Turismos, Halo, etc. I don't feel bad one bit about Halo 3 being 360 exclusive. I prefer it that way. It's like complaining that Super Smash Brothers Brawl won't be on PC.

Now that I can quote for truth. May it never come out on PC. The Halo 1 port ran terrible, and Halo 2 had to run on DirectX 10 to make it run like it did on the Xbox, albeit with the almighty 'next-gen trick' of adding bloom.

Like Halo , Halo 3 is going to most likely be on PC with some modifications to the content. The question is within how many years? By average, I would say three....I'm patient so I'm waiting...and waiting.

Have you tried Xbox Live vs PS3 online or Wii online? Yeah, PS3 and Wii online are good, but Xbox Live (for the old one and the 360) are the best services around. I'll gladly pay 50 bucks a year to play. That's 4.17 a month. Not something to whine about. I make less than 20 grand a year, and have bills, a wife, an apartment and a junky car to support. If I can afford it, anyone can, even if they don't have a job.

EXCEPT I am saving for college, but NEED an XBox 360, and only have a $7.00 and hr job.

Personally, I prefer PC to Xbox fps controls anyday.
So I'll probably wait until the PC version will be out.......
Which will probably be the day I'm old enough (or so my parents say) to play it.

Lol ill probaly wait till the PC version comes out, then i'll have enough money to buy some better tech

Well, It already CAN run on PC as soon as its released but of course I don't know how to do that

Actually, that should be "I NEED to save for college, but WANT a 360..."

Seriously, you don't need a 360. You need to go to college. When you get to college lots of guys will have 360s to get together and play on. Trust me.

GAGH! I want it on PC! GAH!!!

Wait three years and you'll have it. Probably longer this time, it's a next-gen game that was built exclusively for the 360, so it'll take a lot longer than the previous two to port. It's much more complex than the last two.

Not to mention that it'd probably be way to hard to get the sky to...oh yeah, can't say if that made it into the final version yet

So... Whos' camping out? A few of my friends are.

I just got the Master Chief 360 and preordered the Limited Edition game.

I'm still confused on how it happened, as I thought I wasn't going to be able to get the game until Christmas, and I just realized I was playing Small Arms a few minutes ago o.O

Oh well.

If I can get Live, I'll be on as TheDarkOrchid.

I'm not going to bother buying a 360 so I can get Halo 3.

Besides, I have two friends who are getting the game, I'll just play it at their houses!

And yes, one of them is going to be picking his copy up at midnight....

It's true, I'll be leaving for the mall around 10:15 'cause the store is havin' some contest goin on then, so I figered heck, why not. I also order the legendary edition and paid it all off, so I can skip the line, grab my game and go. I'm counting down the hours/minutes till midnght. I'm goin crazy over here.
