I've been thinking of this for some little while, and If Linus find its ok, I would like to promote Rekubot to something like Co-Leader ^^
Btw. I've again decided to take the Geonosis map back, this time permanently (Sorry dudes, but Endor isn't really my thing :P)

Sure, Soul, Rekubot can be promoted. Sorry to say this, Revan', but there is no finished maps yet. By the way, just so you know, guys, I will be away this weekend, so I will not be able to work on the Hoth map...

whats the side plan? 1 main side? different side for each map? what?

but what ever it is i want to help in it because i have a bunch of assets to use. I have new and improved weapons and units that i would like to be used (if you want to see them play my yavin map)

on that note, if youd like Rekubot itd be cool if you could use some of my fighter ODFs for your map. namely my V-wing, Arc, and Tri-fighter, you probally got some of your own but i got those ones down.

also you should look into having couple venators and fed cruisers animated to be flying around if its not to mush trouble. not with interiors of course, just the ship and its turrets.

Is there anything you need me to do, i havn't finished the Clone Assassin, because i cant do the breathing bits on the helmet, if i finish it could somone else do that bit?

Awesome Syth, I'd love to use those. I may have to change the ODFs slightly though - in this map I'm taking away a lot of the TakeOff height so that getting out of the hangar is your job, not the computers. There's also a couple more personal preference things too, but nothing drastic will be changed. If you don't want me to edit them, that's fine, I just want everything to be the same technical-wise if that makes sense. (I.e, it wouldn't feel right for me if my ships took off at a small height, and then your ones would zoom up into the air like the shipped vehicles do.)

As for the Venators, I've got it covered ;). There'll be a couple of ships with closed up hangars, and they'll be there for prop purposes only. Well, they'll have turrets and stuff of course ;).

Here's my personal view of things; Linus or MS/Soul might be thinking something different. Set up one complete side with realistic weapons, units, effects etc. and hand it to each mapper on the team. They will then adjust it according to their map (i.e, Geonosis will have Phase I armor etc.). I'm currently setting up the Clone Wars space side, but I reckon I'm going to do a GCW space map as well.

@RevanSithLord: Thanks so much! For the background music I reckon I'll set up a soundstream region so when you go through it you can hear it, but I get the feeling that the background music will get in the way.

Heh, I've played as some of the characters in hero assault and I thought Boba and Jango were amazing. Give them their proper weapons, and they couldn't get much more accurate than that.

This is my log of Mygeeto: Hidden Ruins of ALPHA 1.10:

-Fixed bug #7 (orange bridge glow bug)
-Removed the Venator that used to make ARC-170 Fighter taking of it. SIDE 3 stopped spawning from it since ALPHA 1.05.
-Added alot of buildings to the CIS side of the map.
-Removed all the objectives that I've programmed before. Most of them didn't work after adjusting the map, so I'll set up the final ones
AFTER mapping is finished.
-Fixed bug #12 aka. BARC Speeder bug (all speederbikes crashed when hitting the bridge)
-Fixed bug #13 aka. Ki Adi Mundi (I made him run so fast he lost his normal walk animations when walking)
-Fixed bug #1 aka. CP1 (height was [word not allowed] up)

okay i got a pack of my assets released (above) that could be usefull for this mod in particular. theres acurate star fighters that rekubot could look into or anyone doing space. theres acurate tanks and units that could be usefull for geo and other land maps. and theres allot of weapons, i think your Hoth Linus would be perfect for my imp officer and his deployable E-webs.

Just a sidenote: DooFi also made an DC-15S Blaster Carbine? xD I'm still working with OOM-9's model :P

But thanks for the assets dude, these will be kinda handy for the Mygeeto map (It has both speeders, fighters, tanks and 2 AT-TE's :P).

Dragonum actually made it (my bad). but its not the ep3 carbine like 00m-9s, its a pistol that was fetured in RC.

Wrong answer ;). Regular, unimportant clone troopers either used the DC-15S blaster carbine or the DC-15A blaster rifle. Sometimes both. At the beginning of the Clone Wars, they tended to carry the DC-15A because it had more firepower and they felt that since they were merely 'products', their reduced speed and bigger chance of death didn't really matter. As the war progressed however, their self-esteem rose and they felt that they deserved to live, and so they carried the DC-15S blaster carbine, which was smaller, easier to use and made the chances of dodging deadly blaster fire much more likely.

The only clone troopers which used the DC-15s side arm blaster were the clone commandos. Commanders and sergeants would sometimes, however, use the DC-17 repeater hand blaster, which I'm currently modelling. Clone pilots also used a DC-15S blaster carbine, contrary to some people's beliefs. The DC-17 repeater hand blaster was very powerful, at the cost of it being semi-automatic.

Commanders were also issued with an upgraded DC-15S blaster carbine, which had a longer range and more power.

@Syth: Awesome dude! I'll have a look to see if there's anything of interest. Can I ask you which of the three V-Wing ODFs is the most accurate?

Edit: @Syth: Doesn't matter, I decided to make my own ODF for the V-Wing. ;)
