That's equally what I would have said, RDST, but I guess this has been planned since the beginning of Star Wars : Empire At War's Development, as I think additional Stuffs such as the Executor-class Star Destroyers is a kind of Flagships that cannot be missed in a Star Wars video-game, and that's why I would be ready to bet that both LucasArts and Petroglyph Games chose to "divide" this Product into two different parts, which could be in fact assimilated to the Star Wars : Empire At War "entity" we all know and the "Forces of Corruption" Expansion dealt with this thread...
Thus, it wouldn't be that surprising to notice that proceeding so would ensure significant benefits to the Companies I have listed above, thanks to a simple Decision...

I agree with you on the fact tht when Lucasarts created EaW, it left out many iconic and symbolic ships and characters (like the SSD). And, considering the Executer was a very iconic ship in the Empire Strikes Back, it is very needed. However, the pirate addition should be cut.

I do not think so, RDST, as "third-party" Groups (Such as Pirate Factions, Mercenaries, Bounty-Hunters, Espionage Agents, etc...) have always been appreciated and highly exploited by both the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire along the years they spent to fight each other, as stated in numerous Star Wars-related Novels and LucasArts video-games, and that's why cutting them off would not be that "realistic" and convincing...

OFF-TOPIC : Well, whats to want about the SSD.
Legacy of War has released their SSD slready.
legacy.gamemod.net, if you've forgotten...
And i'd say LONG LIVE THE EMPIRE to that one.

Off-topic : The Super Star Destroyer Model shipping with Star Wars - Empire At War : Forces of Corruption might not be the only reason making this LucasArts video-game worth a buying, Droid803, and that's why I seriously doubt that downloading a Modification similar to the "Legacy Of War" one could replace the numerous Stuffs Petroglyph Games will join to the concerned Expansion, no matter whether the work produced by Juggernaut1985 and many other Modders is highly "valuable"...

^Yes but, it works very good for a quick fix.

Off-topic : I have not learnt about the existence of such a Modification intended to Star Wars : Empire At War, Super_Shadowman, and I was wondering whether you would mind providing me either informations or links referring to the whole Content shipping with these Stuffs...
Thanks in advance !...

Off-Topic: Yes, it exists...it also has TIE defenders... I think its on Petroglyph Fan Forums ,if I'm not mistaken (I've not personally been there in a while and checked on the mod section, but I've heard)
I wouldn't call the SSD model "better". Well, maybe its my crappy graphics, but it turned out grey without a skin, so I couldn't appriciate its full glory...
On Topic: Well, of course there's more to FoC than the SSD...there's a firing Death Star 2...(which is pwnage btw) I was merely pointing out that the SuperStarDestroyer is out already for us to enjoy...

Off-topic : I won't contradict you about the fact the Death Star II is probably one of the most efficient and "
dissuasive" Machines of War ever ordered by a
major Planetary Organization, but I think that it is really a pity that
Star Wars - Empire At War : Forces of Corruption will
not offer its numerous owners the ability to lead other
similar Imperial Projects, such as either the
Sun Crusher or the
Eye of Palpatine, amongst others...

Star Wars : Empire At War Modification
Shadowman' must have referred to inside his last message...

The mods got some good features but, I dislike the added "effects". Oh well.

Off-topic : Super_Shadowman, if Star Wars - Empire At War : Forces of Corruption is indeed an Expansion intended to the first Star Wars-related Product Petroglyph Games conceived, then why would the original Design of the "Death Star" Project be looked upon as one of the three "Super Weapons" featured into the concerned video-game ?
Furthermore, since Star Wars : Empire At War shipped with Stuffs inspired or coming from the "Expanded Universe", then I guess its "Sequel" will equally contain similar elements, while hoping some of them will fit with the Suggestions I have talked about earlier...

This looks all and good, but the thing i think is missing from this game is one of the key elements in Star Wars: Rebellion. Diplomacy and Neutral planets. Its very unrealistic to have every planet in the galaxy belong to a faction

In some galactic conquests there are some nuetral planets.

Off-topic : I think that Shadowman' has properly summed up the Situation faced by the different Planetary Organizations having evolved along the Galactic Civil War, Chamboozer, since I have learnt a large part of them couldn't help either joining or supporting one of the concerned Factions, because of all Interests they might have in proceeding so. Furthermore, I assume that none "Neutral Planet" could have freely existed, which could be related to the fact nearby Systems might have influenced or even forced the choices of this Independent Location, through the leading of "Persuasive" Demonstrations, amongst other sorts of behaviors...

Off-topic : Because of the worrying Reputation you have unfortunately succeeded in having through the posting of messages on GameToast Forums, I have to say that I did not expect that much from you, and although you seem to have behaved rather randomly while you were composing the above reply, you have nevertheless understood what might be your probable future, thanks to only two simple "Emoticons", which have eventually cost you one chance to remain among all other members of the local Community, General_Grievous_4...

Off-topic : I assume that
GameToast members looking at this thread might be rather interested in getting their hands down on the Movie hosted on
FilePlanet Servers you have talked about earlier,
OOM-911, and that's why I prefer making things
much easier for the concerned users by providing them the proper web-address associated to this Video File, which can be easily downloaded at
this Location...
