This topic is for the dreamers, and for those who want to get a team together but don't know how. It's for keeping the SWBF2 General forum clutter down. Now if you've got an idea and want to get a team together you can do it here. If the thread gets too cluttered to keep yourselves organized you can talk via PM or Xfire, or even get enough work done on the mod to merit your own thread.
Bottom line is that this topic is to keep spam/ideas out of SWBF2 WiP and out of the main area of SWBF General. If it seems annoying then you don't need to visit this topic, but it's much less annoying to monitor one topic rather than 5. It's both a request thread and a mod organization thread. Any experienced modder that's worked in a team will tell you that if you
really are serious about making a mod you'll just use this thread for a short time and organize yourselves via PM or Xfire. But frankly the entire staff is tired of 10 page "mod" topics that have nothing to show but ideas, ideas and ... you guessed it, more ideas.

This sounds more like a request than an idea.

And what exactly will you do? This just sounds like you're getting people together to make stuff for you that you can't do and you can 'make' the mod. Forgive me if I'm wrong.

with the multi story idea, it wouldn't work well with the ai anyway, unless both floors were identical. The barriers and planning would be a total mess and the ai would always run into things....

Eh....just spewing an idea I've been preoccupied with for a little while:
At the end of the NJO series, the grand finale takes place over a terraformed Coruscant. Having just a massive space battle map between the Galactic Alliance/Empire forces against the Vong would be cool to see.
No, I do not expect anyone else to do this, but like I said, I'm just speaking about an idea I had.

I think a map series about Kyle Katarn would be fun-the model from the convo pack could be used.

Well then ,can you get to work on the Arwing model as well as the Fox, Falco, Slippy, and Peppy models? I don't know how hard this would be (I don't model) but any models you can make would be great!!!
(unless, of course, you don't want to work on the map.)

It has nothing to do with a single map devoted to a capital ship.
But it may HAVE capital ships. Really, I decided to make a few models and try seeing what I can come up with for practice first. Although I probably would use those models.

Where did you come up with that conclusion? And seriously, that's virtually impossible to do. If that were to happen, he'd probably be working on it until he retired.

I wish I could do that lol. I still wanna make a few though. 70 maps is probably somewhat exaggerated.
