Blastmarks??

Im wodnering is it possible to have blast makrs after a grenade explosions or Blaster shot??
OR has anyone achieved this??'
Cause it would be realy cool to have

I agree with the blastmarks, put if you get blastmarks from a grenade wouldnt you go flying?
I dont know if anyone is working on these.. It would be a great idea like Grapple Hooks

I was talking to Qdin the other day and he was asking me the same thing. This IS possible, but it'll take quite some time making blast marks as .tgas and then getting them into the game.

And it will need optimizing. They will have to only last for just seconds. The battlefield will fill up with these extremely fast and lag will hit - seeing as they arent terrain effects they are entities alone, perhaps decals.

Maybe you could add effect to lasers so when they hit anything a black mark appears... something like Mace's effect but smaller. All you would have to do is add an effect to the lasers. I remeber that Delta had added the effect of the jet trooper's gun to normal lasers... I guess it should work.

The Mace Windu Effect wont work cause that is Only Horizontal
