Hi everyone,
I decided to just post a question about this. Can anyone offer some suggestions as to how to stop bots from standing around? They get stuck in the planning hubs, and won't move unless I give them a "follow" order and then "disperse." Sometimes they won't move at all, and sometimes they finally move after long periods of standing there. Meanwhile, other bots go streaming right by them (through the same hubs) with no problem.
I've used my knowledge of how planning works to try several things, including increasing/decreasing the size of the hub, moving the hub away from barriers and objects, moving the connections around barriers and objects, using fewer hubs, using more hubs, checking the connections, etc., with only marginal success. I just don't understand why some bots go through the hub and on their merry way, while others get stuck there.
Any tips? Appreciate the help.

RE: Planning and bots
Hey Fred,
I'm gonna try removing as many hubs/connections as I can, soon as I get my sky file sorted out. The thing is, the planning more or less makes the battle happen as I thought it should, telling which units to go where. The map is more complicated than just allowing infantry units to run around in random directions. It would be easy to just use barriers and no planning, but every unit would just go in every direction and there would be chaos. There are vehicles in the map, and I obviously don't want them going to the CP on the balcony, for example. I also want the ATATs to go across the river rather than go behind some building (as they are wont to do). And I fear removing the planning like that directing bots up those stairs, because it was so hard to get it to work. So ya can see the problem I'm having. But like I said I'll experiment with removing some hubs/connections. Thanks for your help.
