Grunts would probably need a new skeleton.(Possibly Spartans and marines vs. elites though)

I'll give my model to whoever wants to texture it. I tried to make it pretty accurate using reference images and whatnot.

Looking good Culvar. I have a Ghost nearly finished, should take about 1-2 weeks to finalize it (mostly UV layout and skinning it will take time).
Looks ugly now, but here it is with fin animations done, juts working on getting the Pilot anims ingame (currently using the Barc Pilot Anims, but they dont line up all the way with the model). Juts say if you want it.

Thanks! It's almost impossible to find a non-ported one

Maybe an ewok skeleton, but I don't know how to get it into XSI

Ewoks could work also, but Yoda seems to have a more appropriate build (i.e. not quite as fat, longer arms than ewoks)

Well, you could just take the unit template beta and scale it down to your the grunt's size, seeing as that's EXACTLY what they did for Yoda.

I'd need new anims. Also, yoda is too short and IDK if he has gun anims.

Yea but then he would crash(missing anim human_pistol or something like that)

Wow, that ghost looks nice so far! But I agree, it needs more texture and the lasers could be blue not red.

I'm pretty sure you can just put it with the human skeleton and then change its skeleto via ODF or whtever you change the skeleton with. and BTW, Yoda CAN use the gun anims and such, look at the gnomes in Battle of the Titans. Reskinned yoda, with all the normal anims. It doesn't matter; anims are automatically resized to the skeleton.

Just build its own skeleton, then the msh will deform correctly to whatever anims you set. (If I remember correctly)
