u misunderstand me though man....they may not be paid or anything, but the fact is that they are representing the company....the forums have big LucasArts stickers slapped all over them, so thats clear. their job (tho its voluntary but thats irrelevant) is to moderate the forums, and keep them clean, tidy and organised...much the same as the moderators and admins here on gametoast. if some random were to join the lucasarts forums, and see what a mess they are, they are likely to turn away in disgust because of it.

and by the way, thanks for the pic of the K-wing...it looks like it would go well for the rebels...certainly more their style than the laat...lol.

Ive given up on the Lucasarts forums now, i prefer gametoast...

"And the new Rebel Transport - we are just discussing this, aren't we ?"
yes we are im not trying to force Xwingguy to do anything... the kwing looks ok but there is not room for passangers, i think the millenium falcon would be best even without engine glow.

As for the rebel fleet commander, you could reskin the imperial one with a beige uniform...

Why not use the imperial skin, but turn it white and have a calimari (sp?) with red skin?

The Falcon should not be the rebel tranpsort. Having more than one at a time would just look stupid.

Well. Come on...YT-1300's aren't limited to one you know. :? But yea, you're right. Need to come up with an idea... hmm.

Then dont have more than one spawn at once, im pretty sure there is a spawn script that only allows one on the battlefield at once like for the AT-AT...

yep. but you could make one YT-3000 only spawn from only one cap. ship, that would be Home One (if it's going to be there), or any other capital ship, not just the Falcon to respaw randomly to any ship

yes, but i think the rebel transport should just not be there. Theres no need for it anyway, because the capitol ships are too intricate for AI to be partolling them.

x-wing said somewhere that he wasnt going to bother with making the falcon a useable, flyable vehicle. But an LAAT over Endor?

Theres also the K-wing, and the possablity of someone else making the falcon a usable YT-1300. Also minilogoguy did have a YT-2400 Outrider model he converted or something, but he droped it. To bad, it would of been the perfect rebel transport.

I don't think the K-wing belongs on this, it's just like haveing the LAAT over Endor, just kinda out of place, I think the Lambda shuttle is the best bet, if there is one available

im not dropping the outrider, and im not converting it, i cant convert MY OWN MODEL, i just originally made it for JA.

Darsol, the Lambda class shuttle was an IMPERIAL shuttle...if you have ever watched Return Of The Jedi, you would see that the rebels stole ONE lambda shuttle...not friggen hundreds of them...i think the K-Wing is the most logical move....its the only craft that has authenticity of the rebels style...having the cockpit similar to a y-wing, and the wing concepts from the x-wing...it may look a bit out of place, but so will every other option...millenium falcon is one of a kind, and the original ship of that type was used as a freighter for smugglers...

I know the Lambda class was an Imperial shuttle, but the Rebels stole a couple from the empire in episode 6, and i figured it wouldn't be to crazy if there was only 1 at a time. And the K-wing is from the Yuuzhan Vong Wars, that's why i said it was out of place.

So? Smugglers are already a staple in the Alliance (they're one of the four main classes). Why can't one of their favorite ships - the YT-1300 - be a staple in Rebellion space battles? To make these ships more distinguishable from the Falcon, the standard YT-1300 could have the cockpit located on the port (left) side, rather than the right side (and of course, it would a different skin). Also, the standard YT-1300 could have less features than the Millenium Falcon.

Oh, and also, it has been directly stated here ( http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/YT-1300 ) that the Rebellion used these ships to resupply bases and starships.

yes darsol....a couple....namely ONE...they only stole one shuttle. and mind you, the way i am thinking it (which makes logical sense) is that there will be at least one if not two transports to each capital ship....it would seem really bad if u had to take a snub to another one of your capital ships, just so u can get a shuttle...no telling which it would spawn from....pointless, thats all that idea has going for it, pointless...

ok, lets recap here....anyone who knows the falcon, and its owner, Han Solo, knows that the millenium falcon was heavily illegally modified...the "standard" yt-1300 has no quad guns, no shields, no big sensor dish....the "standard" yt-1300, was a CARGO FREIGHTER.

And why should the Alliance not modify it's YT-1300s ?
Almost every YT-1300 that was sold was later customized with a handful of extra components

Just get the Falcon flying, reskin it, change it's Name to "Rebel Combat Transport" or something like that and you're finished.
