The Jundland Wastes map can be played either at the Galactic Civil War era or at the Clonwar era.

Historical Background:

Galactic Civil War: Rebel Droids escaped from the Imperials. Follow Lord Vaders order to search the planet and find the Droids.
Question Jawas like Stormtroopers do (regulary) but be aware of the Sandpeople. As Rebell find out what happened in this Planet system short time ago. We are missing friends with importand informations.

CloneWars: Try to keep the Old Republic in order. Unknown forces working in background against the Old Republic.

Ok i will stop my jodaism here also known as Rends english ;-)

Installation: Copy the folder "Jun1" to your "Star Wars Battlefront/GameData/AddOn" directory.

Known bugs:
1. The landspeeder has no cockpitmodel and also no Damage icon. In fact it´s an unfinished model and drives very slowly but faster than foottroops.
2. There are a few polygon collision problems in the valley i tried to fix. But it can be happen that you fall through the rocks or you move a bit into them. A jump will bring you back on top of the rock . I will fix this problem once we can work with Softimages XSI.

i tried it but i got only the mapicaon working with the combatspeeder icon but not the health icon i tried to use:

and i also tried to set a higher forwardspeed up to 39:
...
Acceleration = 19.0
Deceleration = 17.0
Traction = 10.0
ForwardSpeed = 39.0
ReverseSpeed = 18.0
StrafeSpeed = 5.0
...
but ingame it won´t recognize this entry.

Rends how did you put all those files up for download?

Iv sent mine to Guru , but id like to put mine up right now aswell.

dont worry, guru will make it availabe for download soon. Also, there are some sites that gives you 10,20,30 MB for free where you can upload your map. Splitting is done in WinRAR, but I am sure you can do it in WinZip also. I am using WinRAR self-extract feture where you can set install path, message and stuff and people do not need WinRAR or WINZip on their machines. It is good your updates of your levels cos you can set up overwrite... You can also open yahoo/gmail/hotmail account send attachment to yourself and give us username and password so we can access account and download it.

Rends, tell me somthing about the video. I made bik file but once compiled does not work. Did you put your original bik file in SourcePC/Sheel/Movies and uncomment mlst file. If yes, maybe I am doing something wrong while convertiing with blik tools. Can you post your settings while converting in bink?

Also, I have noticed in your map, if you do not use bumpmappinf you get that black area following you. Well, this is what I did. I took nab1_detail.tga and put it in my mod folder. then in zero, texture, tile 0 for detail I wrote this file. Alll other tiles do not need detail, and it works great with or without bumpmapping. I guess your detail tga should be tat1_detail.tga or something. It is black and white picture of your main texture=tile 0.

Eddie explained it very well. Now someone uploaded it temporarely so ne need anymore to download 9 files.

that´s funny. I used some of the videosettings you described in the other thread: 320x240,15fps,200000bps.
I used animated stills instead of realvideo to keep size small. The video i made first was about 17MB.this Video is about 2.5MB.

And i also followed the "flytrough video" instruction from the documentation (except deinterlace off because it wasn´t a interlace video)

And i will fix the maintexture thing.

Yes play around with the tatooine textures. the original devs made them fit very well together.

Rends, beautiful map!! Here are my suggestions:

1. Make sure you spray different Tatooine textures and mix them together (blend...it doesn't work for me or I don't know how to use blend).

2. MORE VEHICLES!! LOL!! Try a few X-wings, TIE Fighters, more STAP's, AAT's, Republic Fighter Tanks, AT-ST's, Rebel Combat Speeders.

3. Bit better AI, some of them run back and forth, in ant lines (bot routes).

4. MOVE THE BOUNDARIES A BIT!! I drive barely off course, and it said the return to battlefield stuff.

5. DON'T MAKE JAWAS ENEMIES FOR GOOD PEOPLE, THEY'D NEVER KILL THEM.

6. More vehicles, again. Fast ones particularly, as the map is...LARGE. An AT-AT or AT-TE might be nice, as long as the Rebels or CIS have enough firepower to stop them...four Combat Speeders per AT-TE?

7. RELEASE IT!! This is an excellent map, with insignificant little flaws (and few vehicles, LOL!!). This will be a hit, you are the next Sith-J-Cull (wonderful mapper for JA, his maps looked like they were from...a game with better graphics...Doom 3, Half-life 2, Halo 2, etc.).

i did see a texture problem in the homestead. there was a bright yellow texture on one of the walls in the skywalker homestead farm
