first of all im really sorry if this has already been asked but...

i want to get the wampas claw move on a SBD and when i copy everything the SBD's arms and legs are apart from the body! i really need this to not happen as it is a major part of the TEC3 mod and the CIM mappack.

You'll just have to live with it I'm afraid.

Ive never created any characters (Im planning on one in my next map) but couldnt you just redo the SBD/wampa skin to make the SBD bigger to fit the wampa model?

You see, its not a skin specific problem. Sure, you could throw the sbd skin on a wampa, and you know what it would look like? I really stretched, dark, ugly, giant smurf

with claws and horns and teeth and what not.

Skins are specific to their model. The only, and i mean only, thing they do, is give a model its color and 'texture'. Now, sometimes skins will work on multiple models, but that is just sheer coincidence.

And then you've got animations. Animations are also specific to a model, though they may be interchanged with models (the skeleton might have to be similar, but I dont know). When you put a SBD on wampa anims, it works. Your SBD can punch and smack and do all that great stuff. But, due to differences in the skeleton of the model (bones to form the model), it becomes stretched out in the crotch.

There isnt anything that can be done to fix this, as giving the SBD wampa anims, in itself, is the sole cause of it.

Some useful GameToast forum tips:

For the things you forgot to say, there is an edit button on your post. Where everyone else has a 'quote' button, your posts have an 'edit' button.

Also, the 'X' will delete your post if no one has posted after you.
