I personally like the looks of this saber weapon this jedi/sith has. Looks pretty sweet - It'd be interesting if someone could get this into Battlefront 2 - BEFORE Force Unleashed launches...

Image

Looks almost like a Tonfa, or police billy club, but with a saber blade emanating from it. It'd be interesting to see these in the new Jedi Temple map that's being made here..

Those stormtroopers look kinda wierd :? Aren't they using the normal ones in the game?

@Carbine: I'm just saying thats how BF2 should have been. But yeah, do you know of any SW games that will be coming out on the PhysX Accelator thing? :|

(why do my posts always seem to stir up such a riot)

The AGEIA website has information on current and forthcoming titles that use the technology, obviously they don't mention games that haven't been formally announced. That being said future LucasArts "in house" productions will utilise DMM physics to achieve the better and more complex results. It should be mentioned that DMM can also utilise physics acceleration hardware to achieve even better results.
Destructibility

Digital Molecular Matter technology can handle more than just realistic motion. DMM can simulate the fracture of objects. The physical stress throughout objects is calculated and is used along with the strength of its materials to decide when and how objects will break. Complete fracture is simulated including the creation of separate pieces, which become additional bodies in the environment.

Flexible Bodies

DMM can also handle much more than rigid bodies; it can simulate the action of flexible bodies as well. DMM objects can bend, like a metal pole bending or a branch of a tree. The movement of flesh of people and animals can also be simulated. This allows an animation sequence to be applied to a rigid body skeleton and then have DMM flesh attached to the skeleton to create a video game character that moves realistically. Cloth and rope motion can also be simulated with DMM, making it possible to have a realistic sailboat simulation with wind filling the sails realistically.
Await the arrival of the game and see what happens.

I realize that they're attempting another iteration of stormtrooper, somewhere in between Phase II clone and true stormtrooper, but those just look goofy and squished. Like, "Oh, nice new armor." "Yeah, well, it was... until Darth Vader stepped on my face."

These are prototype figures, keep in mind.
I'm actually Hasbro made the female jedi/sith,
Can't say many parents would buy it for their kids :?

I'm surprised the PS2 will be able to handle it, considering
all they said about putting into it.

If this game comes out on PC itll be great if they released Mod tools for it. Pretty much anything would be possible. it would probably be really hard to mod though.
That one picture of the Star Destroyer hovering low over Theed
Not exactly what youd call hovering. Crashing much more accurate.

Just wondering, but if you're Darth Vader's apprentice, then why are they fighting stormies in the trailer?
