Here is my feedback:
Overall, good. I like the setup, but there are one or two points which could be improved on:
- I think spider walkers would be useful here, to counter the AT-TE's. They would also add a whole new dimension to the game, as I just love seeing those things in the distance frying everyone who tries to attack them.
- You defintely need less troops on the field at any one time. A challenge is one thing, but even as Obi-Wan I found it virtually impossible to stay alive for more than a minute. Plus, it looks kind of sloppy when there are just troops all over the place.
- I think you should stick to the engineer having the shotugn and the commander having the chaingun, although I do LOVE what you have done with the chaingun. The thing is, the Commander now has a fusion cutter and the engineer hasn't, and that ain't right.
- Possibly (and this is ony a possibly) have some LAAT's spawning from a Venator (or at least a hangar) above the sinkhole? Add in some gunships for the CIS and some turrets and it would give this map a whole enw dimension.
- When you fall, you hit a floor. Now, this is fine for a regular soldier, as you die anyway due to the distance. As a Jedi, however, you don't. And then you're stuck down there. Either lose the floor or (now this would be interesting) do it up to look like the bottom of the Utapau sinkhole and put in a way back up...maybe a series of ledges with which a skilled jedi can force jump from one to the other, making his way back to the fight.
In short, I currently give this map about 7/10, but I think it has the potential to defintely become one of the ultimate BF2 maps.

i have some feedback and some bugs that i have spotted
i love this map first of all
Bad/Bugs
- some clones kept running against the wall face first and not fighting
- the droids were to overpowered when i played it but that could be due to the fact i had the settings on 32 units and 500 reinforcements
- this is just something that bugged me but i had trouble finding where to go to get up to the second level
- i think it was the mini gunner clones icon for the welding torch would be in the middle of the screen instead of the usual place
- and finaly some of the medic droids would be stuck in the ground
Good
- very accurate to the movie
- a lot of great textures and the vehicles were spot on pritty much
Things to fix up
-can you change the colour of the ATTE from yellow to red since they were in the movie
- try and change the clone commander skin to the cody skin
- try adding turrets they would be kool
-maybe some LAAT's
-and possibly the sinkhole with a venator above so you can have droid fighters and some Arc-170's fight
- possibly add the room from the original utapau map where you fight grevious in campaign (i can't remember what its called) you could add vulture droids in there to fight the arc-170s since that room is the interior of the core from a trade fed core ship
anywho they were just some ideas for you to ponder on i've only played this map once since i only just downloaded it so some things that i have typed could be completely wrong and pointless :p

One of the best maps i have ever played. Never had such a full-out war experience like this before.
but a few things i think you should change/add.
- get rid of the clone commander's fusion cutter and give it back to the engineer. give the commander back his recon droid.
- add turrets. lots of them
and some beam one too. it would be pretty sweet to sweep the laser back and forth across the highways.
- tweak abit of the spawn pathing. i noticed this one spot on one of the ramps up to the upper levels that the AI would walk up then fall off the edge cause the path seem to go right off. then the AI units who fell would be stuck in one spot. easy prey if your the other team but it needs fixing i think.
- see if you can disable the Award Rifle. I have legendary Frenzy and each time i swith weapons with a unit with a blaster rifle i cant change back. particulary annoying when being the clone commander, you cant use the shotgun and the rifle at the same time
- fix the texturing underneath the bridge.
- add some gunships for air support. it would be abit easier having some air support when waging war down the highways.
thats all i can think of for now and dont forget that this is ONE AMAZING MAP! just like Wadi said, i diffently think this has the potential to become one of the best, if not the best, in battlefront II!

I recommend in your second version to please balance the numbers of the special units. You obviously hyped the Clones and gave them rather too many special units than the Magnaguards and Droidekas.
And finally try to find some way to have more than 2 droidekas. Good luck.

I just played your map and I think a majortiy are missing the point here....there were always more droidekas than Magnaguards. As always, some of you are still follwing Pandemic's example of Battlefront 2 instead of Battlefront 1...release the special units free as long as they balance gameplay. Use this opportunity to tone the droideka realistically before you make another version.Squirrel7Hunter wrote:droidika 88, you already asked me to add more droidikas to my map and take out more magnaguards
Your map has 10 Magnaguards and only 2 Droidekas. How can you say you added more droidekas? I'm talking about more than the limit Pandemic foolishly gives, which is 4. I'm talking about at least 10 to 20, as long you are willing to balance them. In fact, if you guys want me to, I'll mod a droideka notepad file if I have time and I'll send one to you. Maybe my idea works for balance gameplay.
Don't make say anything stupid about the unrealistic hypeness of the Anakin vs Obiwan duel in Episode 3. Seriously, open your mind kids.stop whining about the stupid droideka's
it's the only thing you always say "droideka droideka droideka *
I don't always talk about droidekas.

Hey, it's not his fault he likes droidekas. I myself love droidekas. The crab-like form. Like a portable turret if-you-will. Very cool. But let's not get too off-topic here. Yes more droidekas in this map would be nice. Look at the lots of Droidekas in ROTS when they surround Kenobi. Im sure there were thousands of Droidekas on Utapau at that exact moment. Where is ROTS without Droidekas anyway?
