I don't know if this should go here or somewhere else...

Well, I found this really sweet model I needed of Kit Fisto by Toonces. I can't wait for the BF0 assets to be released and I can't have just the model files for the Kit Fisto in the convo pack,* so I downloaded one off of JKAFiles. I can't reach the author to ask permission to convert it, though... What can I do? Am I stuck? One of the textures was created by Neomarz, but I don't know if this matters...


*I hope that didn't sound whiny...

Don't quote me on this, but I think Tean said that it's OK to port a model if you can't reach an author, but that credit needs to be given (obviously) and in the event the author does contact you and asks that you not use his or her model, then you would have to immediately remove the model from your mod.

I'd really be instereted in someone confirming that, because toonces has a REALLY nice Mace Windu model.

I was able to track Toonces down about a year ago through a bunch of people. He gave permission for his models to be used.
