I played the demo and liked it a whole lot, but i don't know if it would last me long enough to be worth $60, and I'm kinda waiting for a mac version...
Does anyone have the game?

Im rather interested in more modern scenarios (WWI-WWII-today) and now Im curious. Is there a whole world map with factions already set in their current places (for a WW3 scenario for example).

I mean it looks good and the mods seem very integrated into the game. I think I'll wait a week or two to see if the Mac edition comes out, if not then I'll just buy it for the PC.

Played it for a couple of days now and I can say that the game is simply amazing. There is a plenty of mods already now. I played in a mod where you start in the beginning of 20th century and the map displays the entire earth. I played as germans and it was pretty funny to conquer Europe and Russia first, then north America, crush Egypt with GIANT DEATH ROBOTS

and ultimately destroy India (who have finished they Apollo programm and started constructing their spaceship) in a nuclear holocaust. Btw the nukes are much stronger now compared to CivIV.

Almost a bump, but Civ V is finally out for Mac!
I'm interested to see how well it runs on my MacBook.
