Truth. You'd be surprised how much ambiance what looks like just a little pimple in ZE can add to the map. Whip out that height tool and vary it up a tic.


Yeah I'd better see some elevation and foliage! :P But seriously, it looks great. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all turns out.

Yup it does against Every thing. :wink: and the plains will have small hills and bushes with forests on the sides.

But Does anyone have a link to the Working Caterpault by phsyc0fred (I think.)

like i said in Dathomir, OOM-9 should have a rifle anim for his rifle.

make sure you put that Jar Jar in Dathomir. it looks much better than the previous one.

Ok I'm gonna fix the Views on the catapults and MTTs Give jar jar his weapons re-work the planing reduce the file size and take out GCW and it's done.

Pretty much beta by tomorrow or today release by Wednesday or Thursday.

I have left a small hidden entrance to the Secret area. It's really hard to find but it's worth it being a gungan in droid fighter. It's really REALLY Fun :yes:

heres a short review before i explore more aspects:

-i see some orange boomas thrown by the gungans, arent they meant to be blue? of course i accept the charged orange ones. :yes:

-the atlati should have a grenade throwing anim or the palpy slash combo anim(the combo used by the gammoreans). also, it should have a pistol anim, i see some gungans with a rifle anim.

-the gungan militia were originally meant to fight with boomas. now, keep the shield slash attack on the militia gung, jus add more grenades, say 20-30. and as something extra maybe you could increase their throw speed.

i still have to play more to produce a better review.

u know i am making another type of electro spear, wan to see it?

now this is yesterday, i have a few more stuff:

-some floating trees

-the edge of the map has a black void, remove it or add boundaries before it.

-shouldn't the gungan general have Rally or Rage.

EDIT: and finally, a tip on the tribal spear.
make it longer. it was probably short for the ewoks becase they themselves were short. now the gungans can make longer tribal spears for themselves as they were taller.

I think Coda covered most things, and I agree with what he said. Here is a suggestion: make the huge mines (I forget what they are called :oops: ) throwable. When you place one, It is placed right where you are standing, it isn't actually thrown like the normal mines. The reason for me suggesting this is that when you put one down and you can't get away fast enough (before someone steps near it) the [highly dangerous :D ] explosion will kill you. And I know you already know this Egg_Guts, but you really need to fix the views on the catapult and MTT. Another suggestion: Make the catapult fire those big mines, but make them explode when they hit the ground. That would be awesome.

Thanks guys, This map will be released tonight hope fully.

And the booma mines have the mine animation there just to big to be thrown far. And the catapult was spose to throw those booma mines but it crashed so couldn't sadly :( .

Coda, Where exactly are the floating trees? Which side on which chunk? Cuz there are alot of trees :wink:

The Atlati Will have pistol animation

General is getting rally

Death Regions will be added

And I might make gungans immune to mines

I remember seeing a pic of a catapult throwing an AT-AT once, so I doubt the problem with firing the mines from a catapult is size-related (I know you didn't say that). Did any errors appear in the BFront2.txt log pertaining to the catapults?

The error with the catapult is user error, you can throw any ordnance.
