hey i'm new on Gametoast and i can honestly say neaarly every mod or map here is worth a download my problem is i can't seem to download files from filefront. I click the links from GT but filefront doesn't load correctly i've tried numerous ways such as using proxies which helped me access the site but when downloading maps they time out before there fully downloaded. I live in the UK and have not had this problem until a few weeks ago does anybody have any ideas what i could do to tackle this problem thanks.

Did you try the files section of Gametoast to see if the map(s) you are looking for are there?

It could also be that you just happened to choose links that were expired. If that's the case, try a recently posted link to see if it works.

Yes I did but the only maps i'm really after are Bantha55's Coruscant, Naboo and Geonosis maps but his links worked a few months ago but no matter what link i try for filefront it either comes up with a connection error or it just doesn;t load correctly at all

Could be your firewall, I had zone alarm, and I had trouble with accessing filefront sometimes.

zonealarm cant be the problem, i had zonealarm a long time and it doenst have problems with filefront

Its definitely not my firewall because when i used filefront back in january it worked fine i tried the link to bantha55's filefront it worked until i clicked download files and it said the page could not be displayed . I just don't get why it won't work for me but thank you for your assistance everyone.

Are there any problems with any other sites including slow loading, What browser do you use?

i use internet explorer and firefox but neither one has problems with any other sites apart from filefront.

FileFront is still undergoing site changes and that might also be the cause of the slow downloads and slow page loadings.

Downloading the maps from the link I provided works for me. This means that it's most likely something wrong on your end. Try a different browser to see if it will work from there.
