Right now RPG mode sounds like overpowered weapons mode. I don't really see any sort RPG aspect to that at all, my advice for this is. Play Mav's Spira: Besaid map, he set up the weapons in a class, based format Similar to Rock, Paper, Scissors, style of fighting; tree sized sabers and flying darth vaders aren't classed at all. Either rename or revamp.
But I do see some improvement here, grass has replaced sand in the forest among others. But adding logs, rocks, and foliage would go a long way to help the whole forest feel.
You're on your way but don't try to do to much with one map. It's better to master things little by little, than to attemt everything in one swoop. Pull back on the throttle don't add any more modes or gameplay quirks and focus in the map. I'd rather play a good WW2 conquest on a well made map. Than play several mediocre modes on unpolished Zero editor terrain. Just my thoughts.

thanks for that. RPG mode was supposed to be for people to use characters freely as people have said in games "I wish that I could play that character with infinite *insert stuff here* and so and so *insert more stuff here* plus my RPG mates wanted me to make some uber characters. So I made them and put them in here. It will be a useful mode for RPG lovers anyway as it has over 7 characters per team.

The problem is that not everyones idea of "Awesome" is the same, and that means that it is only fun for whoever SPECIFICALLY likes what is done, making something that EVERYONE likes works much better.

And how are they coming? No offence but I need them soon, getting tired of this project... :?
If you're tired of this after only two weeks then you're certainly trying to do too much at one time and getting yourself in way over your head. Most projects with the amount of content you're trying to create take months to develop.

I meant that nothing much has been happening in that time as I'm waiting for bob and doing some tweaks and a few random things to the map to make it better and it just gets a bit boring.

Skins are NOT the feature of a map, you could do loads of things (usually skinning for my maps never happens or waits until everything else finishes) like make the map look much better, build the sides without skins (weapon damage values, unit health, all that stuff), and much more.

Well, you just have to be patient. For instance, with the mod that I'm making, I'm basically 90% done with it. However, it uses quite a bit of assets from BFX, so I can't even announce it unless he comes back one day and reply's. It's been like that for almost a month and a half.

You're going to have to take this slowly. It's one of the reason's I haven't heard any word from BFIII as of late.

If you would like some models, I just got XSI to start working for me. It may take a few months, maybe longer to get the hang of it, but I might be able to learn the ropes. You could, however, if it's allowed, request some models in a fabled request thread that I heard about, but haven't found.

The default vanguard looks good enough for an Allied Soldier, the imperial Officer (The one from the Unofficial Patches) looks good for a Soviet Soldier, Soviet Officer, and a German Officer, etc. You might be able to use the Rebel Sniper for the Soviet Sniper, however that's the only place it could be used.

*Slightly Off-Topic* Well, you're probably going to be waiting for a LOOONG time. I PM'ed him about a week after he released his assets, and I still haven't gotten a reply back. I don't think he's coming back, sadly.

*Back On-Topic* Yes, the project is going to get boring if you're just waiting for something. It might not be the best quality, but you could attempt to make a decent skin, at least until you get the other one from Bob...

Thanks for comments - but sorry, I'm not changing the sky or terrain as they look good like this.
The vanguard is the closest to a ally soldier atm and I'm not sure if bob is even doing them or not.. at least I upgraded something.
UPDATE!

Why did they never teach me anything about the WWII zombie invasion at school? I've spend years learning about WWII, only to find out they left out a lot of critical info... Oh well.

No but seriously, par, if you're going to continue with the zombie's, despite you're poll advising you to work on the actual WWII factions, you may want to consider changing the name of this map.

Sounds like you're trying to cram waaay too much stuff into your map. Focus on just one or two things (maybe the point of the map? WWII?) and put all of your effort into that, instead of trying to make a ton of random stuff with no polish that ends up looking terrible and being no fun at all.

Yeah, I agree with Xavious. If you want to make all that stuff, make a new map.

no this is for another mode not for the zombie mode.
I've finished Zombie Mode and waiting for the skins from bob for conquest. I needed to fill in Hero Assault mode so I did it with RPG mode. It turned out good so I decided to keep it.
I can't work on the human factions as I don't have the skins yet!

I hate the be the COD5 party pooper, but I fail to see what zombies have to do with WW2. I suggest you split the two projects, since mandalorian zombie hunters have nothing to do with Rebel British soldiers during WW2.

*Insert big sigh here*
Here we go again..
Zombie mode takes part in the late future when the Zombie Hunters stumble across a legendary old battlefield who the allies and germans fought against each other in the past. The zombie hunters search around and find a huge group of zombies (Who where the people who fought in the war come back from the dead) which had claimed the battlefield as their own.

And thus began the Zombie Hunters v the Zombies!

What you could say is like:

"In the future The Zombie Hunters came across an old WW2 Battle field, and then Zombies came up from the dead (Who where the people who fought in the war) And thus began the Zombie Hunters v the Zombies!"

Just a suggestion. :music:
