I have been working on a map and I finnaly got one to work. It's still in the process of getting it's texture and Im also working on the trench(I need to make it a death zone.) I just need to find a good texture that looks like rock. If anyone has any like that, I would appacate if I could use it. I would of course give that person credit. If anyone tells me how to post pictures, I will post one.

-GC and GCW
-2 command posts
-Small( Im going to make a bigger map later)
-Basic story-Town gets hit by earthquake, mountains and canyons form, and the enemy decides to strike.

New maps for SWBF1 is always welcome :)

You can upload images to a host such as http://imageshack.us/. Once they are uploaded, you can link them here.

Off-topic : SWSOE1, in case you would wish to host the Screen Captures you could take from this Star Wars Battlefront level on sort of Dedicated Sub-Domain, then I would advise you to upload these Graphics Files through Fotopic©, while knowing you will have to convert all concerned Targa files into JPEG ones thanks to Specialized Softwares, like either XnView or FastStone Software© Image Viewer, which are both entirely free...

The last image is the enemy command post if front of a mountain. The first one is the trench. Once I add the texture, you will be able to tell.
And thanks for the links.

Off-topic : It depends on the sort of Technical Issues you are currently experiencing with this Star Wars Battlefront level, SWSOE1, since I have become slightly more efficient for working out problems leading to complete Crashes of either the concerned map or the whole video-game.
Above all, do not forget that the use of GameToast's "Search" feature could provide you a certain Amount of informations which might help you to work out most of the troubles you have faced so far while designing your map...

Off-topic : SWSOE1, if you were talking about Targa Graphics Files you can generally exploit in order to be applied on Star Wars Battlefront level's Ground, Sky or other sort of major Environmental Elements, then I suggest placing all the concerned Textures towards the "[Hard-Drive's letter]\BFBuilder\Data[Mod_ID]\Worlds\[Mod_ID]\World[#]" Directory, while hoping I have successfully answered to your question...

Ok, I neeed help, the map still dosen't work. If anyone still has the tools to mod for BF1, could they please help. And DarthDeathRow, its kind of hard to map for BF2 when you only have BF1.

Off-topic : As I have already precised earlier, SWSOE1, attempting to work out the Technical Issues you are facing with the Star Wars Battlefront level dealt with this thread could highly depend on the exact nature of these problems, but as GameToast members around this Place seem to have dedicated most of their Efforts and Knowledges towards Star Wars Battlefront II, I hope that you won't mind providing me the Source Files associated to this map so as to try figuring out how to work out all your Troubles...

Off-topic : Alright, thanks to the Source Files attached to the Star Wars Battlefront level you have accepted to provide me, I have proceeded to a few Check Outs intended to determine which exact contents might trouble the proper executing of this map, and it apparently seems that the file labelled "Mod8.ter" - Which can be easily found towards the "[Hard-Drive's letter]\BFBuilder\DataMod8\Worlds\Mod8\World1" Directory - fits the Origin of most of the Issues you have experienced so far with it, and that's why I would advise you to replace the above file by another one, such as "Mod1.ter" - Locatable inside the ""[Hard-Drive's letter]\BFBuilder\DataMod1\Worlds\Modification1\World1" Folder -, in order to obtain a Proof of this Statement... (Of course, do not forget to rename this last TERrain Entity using the proper Label !)

Well, you were right. When I munge, a screen pops up saing that terain munge had an error and it is right when Mod8.ter pops up on the screen. If I take that file out the terain is flat and textureless. Thanks for the help.

Off-topic : You do not have to thank me for the minor Check Outs I have completed so far, SWSOE1, and as it seems the Issues you have experienced with the aimed Star Wars Battlefront Project are more important than expected, I assume that a certain time will be required in order to get rid off all of them, as I have received a consequent Amount of Warning Messages while compiling and merging the concerned Stuffs after having aggregated another TERrain file to them...

I've made progress! I fixed the whole mod8.ter problem, but now, when I lainch the map, the game crashes. Im sure you guys are sooo excited  Its not to long till it comes out guys.

Off-topic : SWSOE1, I have recently dedicated most of my Resources and spare-time towards other Star Wars Battlefront Projects, but this last News might perhaps force me to return to yours. Indeed, if you have really succeeded in making the aimed TERrain file to work while using the "Modification Tools" having been designed for the aimed LucasArts® Product, then I would not mind getting my hands back on it. On the other hand, I would like you to make sure that a "geo8.lvl" file has been indeed generated towards the "[Hard-Drive's letter]\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront\GameData\AddOn\geo8\Data\_lvl_pc\geo8" Directory, in order to make sure that you have made progress since the last time I conversed with you...

Ok...I think I found the problem. I went into ZE and tried to munge a normal map, the Mod.ter file will not munge! Still goin at this problem though.

Off-topic : If you were looking upon a "Normal Map" as belonging to either the "DataMod1" or "DataMod2" Projects located into the "[Hard-Drive's letter]\BFBuilder" Directory, then the Outcome you have obtained and described previously must mean that the Foundations of any newly-generated level are far from being eventually reliable, and that's why I would instead advise you to pick up one of the Shipped Environments attached to Star Wars Battlefront Modification Tools into the "[Hard-Drive's letter]\BFBuilder\Assets\Shipped Worlds" Path, before transferring the Folder of your own Choice towards the "[Hard-Drive's letter]\BFBuilder\Datageo8\Worlds\geo8" Location and proceeding to Adapted Changes in the Labels of the copied Stuffs...

It seems that Im havin trouble with adding textures. Could you maybe give me a link to a tutorial? I would have used the search feature, but it dosen't work for me at the moment.
