Oh. My. God.
Those are awesome, ForceMaster.
You said for TCW maps...I am making one, so are those already to be seen as assets, or not? Or would you prefer to wait until you release space chrisophsis?

Thanks
Last night I munged a new animset, using vader's idle for pistol and tool animbanks, stock rifle for the crouched pistol, and DUCK's two handed pistol mostly for the standing pistol. Haven't tested though.
And I think I'll change the red color a little.

I was about to suggest that. Seems like not only me have good ideas.kinetosimpetus wrote:Last night I munged a new animset, using vader's idle for pistol and tool animbanks, stock rifle for the crouched pistol, and DUCK's two handed pistol mostly for the standing pistol. Haven't tested though.

Set of simple crystal props. Very easy to make using T-gen.

Looks amazing!
I just wondered about T-Gen (I can't use it since I'm using 5.11), does it 'create' the UVs for the generated model too?

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
Yep. Doesn't work in 100% of cases, but most of the time yes. Doing the same Uvs manually......uuugh.
And the original T-Gen has two versions, 1 for 6.11 and 1 for 5.11. I use 6.01 Mod Tool and 6.11 works fine on that.
T-Gen2 doesn't work properly on 6.01 (leaves are badly messed up and gravity settings don't work).
Oh and just incase I haven't promoted it enough - you can randomly generate similar models to your original one, it updates models as you go and you can save and load presets...oh and that entire set of crystals took 20 minutes.

That is getting better every time, you are a hero ym friend.

Re: SWBF Series Model Showcase Thread v4.0
Great work ForceMaster! (for getting it ingame as well as making it
)
Decided to start learning XSI in earnest, not just as a BF2 tool. Found an old drawing of mine from a school project based on imagining what animals could evolve in the future - realised it could be used as a blueprint/rotoscope. Coupla hours later....
Bottom of the animals is original, top one is subdivided. Errors and exaggerations on the bottom one are there for the benefit of the subdivided version.
Still very wip, hasn't been textured, rigged or even had all the details added (needs the extra fins, teeth etc)......
Not for Bf2.
EDIT:
^sorry cos its not for BF2 am i still allowed to post it?
EDIT2:
Experimenting with different head shapes....

The pistol model for my Defiler, reference from FOC, uses stock textures.
