1. can you make the envoroment rotate? (as in say it starts raining, them maby 10 minutes later it stops raining?)
2. can you add secondary objectives to a campaign script (like you dont have to do the secondary objectives, but it does help by getting you rewards or something like that)
3. is it possible to have a randomized weapon loadout. instead of having the usual trooper weapons (blaster, rifle, nades) can you make it change from blaster, rifle, nades. to perhaps rifle, mines, health each time you spawn so theres technicallylike 3 weapon loadouts that you can possibly get?
4.can you have a objective where you have to scan, or basicly collect a sample of it, or is there even a way to mimic collecting samples? (i wanna make a secondary objective where you can scan certain plants in my map and collect data from it.)
5. i want to make a object (basically ammo and weapons Depot) and have it so that when it gets destroyed, it has a massive blast radius that kills anything instantly thats within 20 feet and damages anyone within 30 feet. how would i set this up in the odf file, and is it possible?
thats all the questions i have for now...
several questions

Re: several questions
1. There was a topic on this recently, this was the general consensus.
2. Yes, this is possible, I just don't know enough about LUA to help. sorry.
3. Yes, you could randomly select a different unit for them when they die (or at the start of the mission) and then forcespawn them so they can't select a unit.
4. Yes, you could place flags around your map that look like leaves and when you pick them up you would know how many they have. I believe there was something like this with holocrons in Archer01's Operation Ferret Master.
5. You could make it do damage at that range but you might have trouble finding an explosion effect that would justify such damage. The separate damages, I don't think could be set up unless you used two explosions. Correct me if I'm wrong.
So unless there is a way to do this without a rainshadow region, no.Maveritchell wrote:Rainshadow regions are not regions that can be dynamically deactivated - some regions can (like deathregions), but not rainshadow regions.
