They have disappeared from my computer!

I'm running windows XP home edition.

It could be possible that Folder Lock made them hidden. I'd like to tell where to go to allow you to see the hidden folders, but i can't remember and i have Vista, so they wouldn't be in the same place.

I did select "Show hidden folders" and I got other hidden folders, but the folder is still not there.

However, I know that it is there, because when I went to paste a dummy folder with the same name, a window popped up saying "do you wish to overwrite?"

If you know a file name that's in one of the folders, try searching your C: drive for it (or My documents, or other places where you might think they are). The search window will tell you of the file's location.

For posterity, would you mind sharing what the problem turned out to be and how you fixed it?

Actually, The unlock button was under the lock tab.

I felt pretty stupid after I found that out.

Still, Why would the program be formatted so that you had to click "lock a folder" to then be able to click "unlock a folder"?

It makes no sense, but I still feel noobish.

Oh well. :?

Btw: Can a admin please lock this Topic, it is of no use anymore.
