So my mouse button three is on the verge of death, and I'm wondering if its possible to remap the bind in ZE to something else.

Yup, go to data_ABC/Editor/config/input/ and make changes to input_common.cfg and input_mouse.cfg. Change the references to "Mouse3" to something else. For a list of valid key/button names check out inputnames.cfg.
