The complete skinning tutorial has a basic one. Try a search for some others.....

Two unit skins from a map im working on.

cool , but it may need a bit battledamage. But i like it !!

i've found that zooming in makes it alot easier to select parts of units easier, i have already finished my red team doing this and i will post some screenshots when i'm done with the blue team.

pretty good, i would recommend using the options to sharpen the image though. (unless you aren't using gimp)
filters > enhance > sharpen, highest i recommend is 70 and for things with cloth then 60.
contrast helps to (its in the colors option) don't go too high on it though or low or it looks really bad... i learned the hard way.

Yes he IS suposed to be solid purple + battle damage. I could maybe work on the arms but beyond that I like it. Now to work on the yellow guy....credits to labj for the HD skin.
