I think I may download them, then redo all the texures.
Putting mods anywhere but SBFFiles is dumb, and otherwise I would not use these. If I redo the textures, I will release them here.

Id prefer you didnt modifie the textures just to release it, its not illegal to release these, its non profit and it stays within lucasarts property...

We're not going to have an argument here, max. You were already pushing it by not acknowledging where the textures came from in the first place, but we're saying it's fine to release these here. It's not okay to use these when they're submitted to SWBFFiles. That's the bottom line. Those are the rules for both sites.

I seem to be missing something here. Are the TF2 textures used here merely better quality versions of the BF2 ones, or are they completely different textures?
Well, one could replace all the parts of the ripped texture with stock bf textures. I think that would make it okay right?

Looks to me like Wulfman was just offering to save you the trouble of remaking the textures yourself.
It would be a bit of a pain for the staff, because I can promise you that we'd look extra-hard if we saw things up from this pack
Aren't the BF2 ones darker though? You'd be able to see by looking at them. :?

On a lighter note (and thus a note I could not submit to SWBF files) these models look pretty amazing. How does the gun on the back of the TIE aggressor work? Is it an autoturret or manned?

Some of them are higher quality versions, some others are completely different. (The fighter texture was in swbf2, but the Vader TIE texture was not)
