Ya another help topic from me.
Whenever I listen to music or sounds on my computer a crackling sound is there and it's very annoying. How can I fix this?

Go Away.
What are your system specs? (CPU, MB, SoundCard)

Also, what kind of speakers and what kind of display (CRT, LCD, Plasma) do you have?
Older speakers and CRTs tend to interfere with each other's frequencies, causing a static noise to come from the speakers...
Is the wiring (with the speakers) worn out or not connected well?

Well the monitor doesn't have anything to do with it because I got it the same time I got my computer.
Windows XP Home
Pentium 4 Processor 2.80 GHz
1024 MB RAM
130 GB hard drive
2 Years Old
How do I find the sound card?

Here's how to find it, the ">" will indicate the next step
Control Panel > System > Hardware (tab) > Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers > (not sure of the name of yours, but it should be the one that ends with the word "audio")

A quick fix could be just to check all the sound connections on your compy. If you've got a loose connection; something's slipping out, you might just need to adjust that to fix the thing.

Could also be alot of internal computer noise. I don't know of a solution to that off the top of my head, but I remember my dad fixing my old computer because it did the same thing that yours did, but I wasn't home when he fixed it.
