I haven't read the entire series or anything (working on it) but I distinctly recall the ships looking like asteroids. The skip looks great, but not rockish enough. That's just my oppinion, however...

That's a good point maybe add some small craters or something to make it look "rockier"

Dread' earlier when Raingod posted that aerial map of the battle of Dantooine you had an idea for the walls. I think you mentioned some ingame walls on Mygeeto, which were you talking about?

yes, i definitely agree, that's one of the things i feel its lacking. it looks too smooth to me.

for the walls on mygeeto, well, they're more like barriers. y'know the cp that starts out neutral? the barriers over there, sorta spiky, with a hole in them for shootin thru? that's what i had in mind. go play it if you don't know what i'm talking about.

I know what you are talking about, but don't you think those might be a little short?

Mykyr Worldship (2+) - ...
Coruscant (1 or 2) - ...(this might make for a bit too much work/too big a download, but its in the same book as mykyr, so i thought we might should include them together)

Was Gyndine where the Fire Breathers were first seen and where Wurth Skidder was captured? If so then that would be a fun map to make/play with building on fire and destroyed etc. (kinda like my avatar)

yeah i know they're a little small, but they'll work until we find something else. i meant to go back and look thru all the levels for stuff we could use, but never got around to it.

i have, however, gotten around to making some buttons for the site. take your pic (or use them both):


they look pretty nice on black backgrounds. also, you may want to consider changing the color of the font of the nav button words, i tried it and it looks a little weird/kinda hard to read.

yeah, you're right about gyndine. i still haven't gotten around to scanning those sketches lol. i'll try and do 'em soon >_> <_<.

yeah, i took a capture of the website, and then overlayed the current text on top of that button, its kinda hard to read. make those links in the nav bar darker if you can (once you put the buttons in)

and dont forget to read the last paragraph of my last post (i'll try and do the sketches tomorrow after school if i remember, i get home like 3 or 4 hours before my sister, so she shouldn't need to use her computer then )

Dread if you are using Corel how do you get it uploaded? I have Corel Photo-Paint 9 but all I can save it as is a CPT and I can't copy it over ot MSpaint or anything if I add more than one layer (like adding text to the buttons) can you help? (or anyone else who has Corel)

Nice banner, really good work. Anyway i work on the VSD a little today, i got friday of this week so will try and get the exterior which along with the weapons and start work on the inside.

trans, well first i used photoshop for that banner, no way i could do that in corel. but i have corel painter essentials, which allows me to save a jpg, so i just do that when i'm ready to upload. i dont know anything about photo-paint (as a matter of fact, i'd never heard of it before you mentioned it), but thats what i'd do if you can. if not, well you could always get a screencap and paste it in paint.

Trans, XnView can convert *.CPT files to another file-format, which could help you uploading your creations on ImageShack, PhotoBucket, etc...

o hey trans if you're just gonna put the text on there in an image editing program, i could do that myself, and use the font i used for the banner so it all "matches up"
